Here is how Adil Rashid was out.
Only, he would have been not out on review, with the ball missing leg stump, but England had no reviews left.
Sums up their day.

It's no longer an aesthetically pleasing experience to watch Broad bat.
And Stuart Broad survives a maiden!
His reward? A drinks break.

Dan, London: Remember the days when we would expect Broad to get some runs, now we're worried when he has to face a single ball.
So can Stuart Broad keep out a full over of Jasprit Bumrah?
Michael Vaughan
Ex-England captain on BBC Test Match Special
Curran looks a very good batsman, we said it when he made his debut. He's got glorious shots but I like the way he defends, he plays it close to his chest. A lot of the England players move their hands towards it but Curran has that ability to play with soft hands.

Greg: Mr Extras has proudly moved on to be the third highest scorer in England’s innings!
Curran 47, Broad 1
Ishant Sharma over-corrects to the other side and Sam Curran marmalises it away for four.
England should call up this Byes fella.
He's just picked up another four as Ishant Sharma bangs it way down leg, leaving Rishabh Pant no chance.
That should probably have gone down as a wide and not against the poor keeper, mind.
Ishant Sharma drops the ball as he runs in and the umpire calls dead ball before Sam Curran can think about smacking it away.

Alfie Nelligan: How was Curran ever dropped? Absolute joke of selectors.
Dan Pritchett: Curran looks like the all-rounder we thought Broad would be when he burst on the scene!
Rich MacNee: What is Sam Curran doing? Keep on scoring runs my son and you will get yourself dropped again.

In his mind Curran will be thinking 'just get the team to 200'.
Sam Curran guides it to third man for a single to leave Stuart Broad one to survive.
Jasprit Bumrah swings a low full toss into Broad's pads - there is a brief appeal but nothing doing and it runs away for a leg-bye.
Broad keeps the strike.
Jasprit Bumrah finds huge swing, still into the 66th over and it hoops miles down leg and away for four more byes.
Rishabh Pant has had a torrid day diving around behind the stumps. Not much he could've done about most of these though.

This is England's 15th innings of the summer and they haven't got to 400 yet. The last time they got 400 was in Melbourne in December and Cook got 244 of those.
Geoffrey Boycott
Ex-England batsman on BBC Test Match Special
If you can't bat you are always up against it. You are climbing against the wind all the time. It's not a solid batting line-up - you just don't have confidence in that top order.

Fred: Well done England. Let’s waste reviews on obvious dismissals then not have one left to overturn an incorrect decision for Rashid.
Sam Curran taps a quick single and Stuart Broad keeps out the last to keep the 20-year-old on strike.
Ah.
Ball tracking shows that Adil Rashid would have been not out on review - that was sliding down past leg stump.
But England had no reviews left, used up by Joe Root and Ben Stokes in failing to overturn their dismissals.
And Broad gets off the mark straight away with a single off an inside edge.
How will Sam Curran approach this? Time to tee off surely.
