  1. WATCH: Steyn dropped on four by Jonespublished at 14:54 British Summer Time 15 June 2018

Amy Jones may not want to watch this again - here's that drop from a couple of overs ago.

  2. SA 40-1published at 14 overs

    Sciver 3-0-12-0

Amy Jones has been moved from mid-wicket, to slip, to the square leg boundary since that dropped catch but the ball's heading towards her like a magnet at the moment as she has to cut off a couple of singles.

And there's another appeal for lbw against Steyn playing across the line - Sciver and Taylor look imploringly at umpire Jeremy Lloyds, but to no avail. No DRS in this series, I think England might have reviewed that if there had been. The ball-tracker suggests it would have been... umpire's call.

  3. SA 37-1published at 13 overs

    Wolvaardt 20, Steyn 11

Steyn drives at Wolvaardt again - this time along the ground and it disappears for four past mid-on - it's SA's first four for eight overs, since that edged four by Wolvaardt off Brunt. The Proteas pick off some singles, a much better over for them.

    SA 28-1

In the air... and put down. Steyn drives uppishly at Sciver, Amy Jones gets both hands to it and mid-wicket but can't hold on, like a goalkeeper pushing the ball over the bar. Jones and Sciver are among a group of the England squad who share a house in Loughborough - let's hope it doesn't lead to a "domestic"...

Take another look at the Lee wicket - was this harsh on the SA opener?

  6. SA 24-1published at 11 overs

With the fielding restrictions lifted, Brunt's off after five overs and off-spinner Laura Marsh - another Kent native, born in Pembury - is on at the Nackington Road End. She's quickly into her rhythm, just a single apiece for the Proteas pair - while a quicker delivery almost has Wolvaardt in trouble as Marsh appeals, but the ball was drifting down leg side.

Meanwhile, TMS commentators Henry Moeran and Ebony Rainford-Brent have challenged listeners to submit nominations for an all-time best Women's Left-Handed XI. Who gets your vote - Karen Rolton? Holly Colvin? Let them know via #bbccricket on social media.

I like the look of those new flats here. You sometimes think you could get somewhere to retire and watch cricket like here, Taunton or Bristol...

  8. SA 22-1published at 10 overs

    Wolvaardt 16, Steyn 2

Shrubsole's been right on the money for England today, sadly for England she and Brunt can't each bowl 25 overs from each end - and Shrubsole is replaced by medium-pacer Natalie Sciver, who is winning her 50th ODI cap. Wolvaardt breaks the shackles a little as SA add some ones and twos - but England can be satisfied as they continue to starve the tourists of boundaries.

  9. SA 18-1published at 9 overs

    Brunt 5-1-14-0

Wolvaardt pulls a shorter delivery from Brunt - but it's straight to Tammy Beaumont, who's patrolling the long leg boundary, and they only run one. I'm sure the Canterbury crowd will hope for a big innings from Tammy today - she was born in nearby Dover and has been a stalwart for Kent for many years.

Even when Steyn tries to nibble at one down the leg side and it hits her pad, Sarah Taylor is out rapidly from behind the stumps to prevent a leg bye.

Brunt and Shrubsole have only conceded runs off nine of the 48 balls they've bowled so far today.

  11. SA 17-1published at 8 overs

    Shrubsole 4-2-3-1

If you're a South African fan following this, an early worry for your side may be that despite a couple of boundaries from Wolvaardt, England are - as they did at Hove - managing to squeeze the Proteas with some tight fielding. They've not been able to rotate the strike in the way that Tammy Beaumont and Sarah Taylor did brilliantly at Hove.

Great bowling from Shrubsole, not giving SA an inch. How long will she and Brunt keep going today?

  12. No flies on Charlotte?published at 14:28 British Summer Time 15 June 2018

I've got a mustard-yellow top on today, and it's attracted lots of flies, so I've had to get the fly spray out! It's been a horrible experience for everyone involved, though I've got a free can of fly spray out of it.

  13. SA 17-1published at 7 overs

    Wolvaardt 12, Steyn 2

"She moves well for a fast bowler," notes Charlotte Edwards on TMS as Shrubsole helps Brunt out with another couple of good stops in the covers. Just a leg bye from the over means it's a maiden for Brunt.

  14. WATCH: Shrubsole removes Leepublished at 14:25 British Summer Time 15 June 2018

Here's the first wicket of the day, and the first of our in-play highlights - Anya Shrubsole removes Lizelle Lee.

Anya Shrubsole will be happy with that - South Africa are hitting too square of the wicket, Wolvaardt should be hitting that between mid-wicket and mid-on, and it's gone to square leg.

Shrubsole is the biggest threat in the England team - good inswingers are a threat in any team in women's international cricket.

  16. SA 16-1published at 6 overs

    Shrubsole 3-1-3-1

Wolvaardt flicks Shrubsole for two through square leg, then there's a stifled lbw appeal as the opener tries to hit across the line again. The fifth ball provokes an even bigger appeal - but there was an inside edge there.

  17. SA 14-1published at 5 overs

Single from Steyn, then Wolvaardt opens the face and gets a thick edge past slip and it disappears past the diving Sophie Ecclestone for four. Wolvaardt then tries another crashing drive through the covers, but is denied by some good fielding by Shrubsole at cover. But a single off the last ball ensures she keeps the strike.

  18. SA 8-1published at 4 overs

    Wolvaardt 5, Steyn 1

Andrie Steyn (no relation to Dale, as far as we know) is recalled to the side today and in at number three - she's immediately off the mark with a single.

With Lee gone, after a dominant series, does this raise the pressure on Laura Wolvaardt now at the top of the order?

Boom! BIG wicket! Lee drives at Shrubsole's inswing, it misses her back and whacks into her right thigh - and the umpire lifts his finger straight away.
