Yes, we have new leaders of Division One after Somerset defeated Notts by six wickets. Is this the year the county title heads to Taunton for the first time?

Second-placed Surrey may have something to say about that and those two will meet in the next round of County Championship matches, beginning on 20 June.

Before that we return to the One-Day Cup for the quarter-finals and semi-finals and we will have full radio and text commentary coverage for you, starting with the first two games between Notts and Kent and Essex and Yorkshire on Thursday.

It's tight at the top in Division One with Somerset one point clear of Surrey, both winners in the latest round of matches, with defending champions Essex six points further back following their victory over Lancashire.

The table will not make pleasant reading at New Road, with Worcestershire 26 points adrift at the bottom, but they do have a game in hand over Hampshire, who lost to Surrey by an innings on Monday.

In Division Two, Warwickshire continue their march towards an immediate return to the top flight after making it four wins out of five by beating Glamorgan. They are 24 points ahead of second-placed Kent, with Leicestershire third after seeing off Northants with a day to spare.

So the pitch is the only winner at Bristol, but Gloucestershire will take a great deal of satisfaction from batting out the final day against a Kent attack led by the leading wicket-taker in the country, Matt Henry.

Kieron Noema-Barnett finishes 41 not out, scoring 114 runs in the game without being dismissed, with Chris Dent (76), Benny Howell (67) and Graeme van Buuren (59) also playing a major part in denying Kent victory.

The visitors take 12 points to go second in the table, with Gloucestershire taking seven.

Table-topping Warwickshire's return to County Championship duty after the One-Day Cup break proved a successful one as they maintained their winning run - with a fourth successive Division Two victory.

Now they have eight days to prepare for their next Championship game - and what should be an exciting meeting of second v first against Kent at The Nevill Ground, Tunbridge Wells.

That is one of four out of the nine Championship games being played at out grounds in that next round of fixtures as Sussex are in action at Arundel, while Glamorgan make their annual visit to the St Helens Ground, Swansea.

And, in the top flight, it will also be first v second at Guildford, where Surrey host Somerset.

There will also be the first two of this summer's ration of pink-ball floodlit matches. One in the top flight at Southampton, where Hampshire entertain Yorkshire, the other in Division Two at Northampton, where Gloucestershire are the visitors.

Not long to go now. Gloucestershire are 28 runs away from wiping out the deficit, and Graeme van Buuren and Kieron Noema-Barnett need to add five runs for their second century partnership of the match. Van Buuren is beaten by a quicker delivery from Joe Denly and it's another maiden.

Now here's something you don't see very often, Daniel Bell-Drummond in action with the ball for Kent. He has never taken a wicket for the county at first-team level in any format of the game - but did claim 2-20 for the second XI in a one-day game against Glamorgan earlier this month.

It's a stuttering run-up, but he is accurate enough to dissuade Graeme van Buuren from taking any liberties, and delivers a maiden. "It's the best over I've seen him bowl," says BBC Radio Kent's Matt Cole.

Kent skipper Joe Denly is back in the attack. If they could just separate Graeme van Buuren and Kieron Noema-Barnett, they might still have a chance of forcing the win. But they are running out of time as Graeme van Buuren clips the ball away for two. The over ends with four leg byes and Gloucestershire are 35 runs short of achieving parity. The partnership is now worth 92.

Graeme van Buuren square cuts for four and then pulls the next delivery from Adam Riley for another to reach his second 50 of the game, this one from 106 deliveries.

Matt Henry has been a wicket-taking machine for Kent this summer - but not today. The bland pitch has taken the sting out of his bowling but he is still charging in to try and force another breakthrough for Kent. Kieron Noema-Barnett blocks out a maiden and there are 13 overs left in the game.

Ian Bell hits the winning runs at Edgbaston.

It is the last of his 17 boundaries today - and it just trickles over the rope to earn the table-topping Bears a fourth straight Championship win.

He finishes on 115 - Bell's second unbeaten century of the match.

Glamorgan spinner Andrew Salter's figures of 4-80 are a career-best. But a third straight defeat will leave them just one place off the bottom of Division Two.

The 21 points Warwickshire pick up look like putting them 24 points clear at the top of the table - assuming Kent do not conjure up victory against Gloucestershire at Bristol.

Keith Barker attempts to get off the mark and avoid a pair with a big yahoo . . . and fails.

Instead, he holes out, Andrew Salter has a fourth wicket . . . and Barker has his pair!

Skipper Jeetan Patel comes in to show him how it should be done by driving straight down the ground for four.

Having reached his second century of the game with a four, Ian Bell takes two more off the same Lukas Carey over to go to 111 - the highest score made by a Warwickshire player this season.

Off-spinner Adam Riley is getting a bit of bounce from the pitch in Bristol but it isn't causing serious inconvenience to the Gloucestershire batsmen. Kieron Noema-Barnett takes a single to move to 29 not out as the last hour begins, with partner Graeme van Buuren on 42. There are 16 overs to be bowled.

Ian Bell hits a four to reach his second century of the match to propel Warwickshire a step nearer victory over Glamorgan.

It was April 2016 when Bell last made a Championship ton prior to this match. Now, after a 32-game drought, he has managed to make two in the same match.

The 36-year-old 118-times capped England Test player becomes the first Warwickshire batsman to make two tons in the same match since he did it himself 14 years ago - knocks of 112 and 181 against Lancashire at Old Trafford in July 2004.

This is Bell's 12th hundred at Edgbaston. More importantly, from a team perspective, just 16 runs more required for victory now.

Just as well, as the lights are on at Edgbaston - and clouds are starting to loom.

After a maiden to Tom Abell by Billy Root, Steven Davies square cuts the second delivery of the next over from Jake Libby and Somerset are home.

The left-hander finishes with 44 not out and Abell has 46, their partnership worth 87 in 16 and a half overs.

Notts did really well to give themselves a chance of victory, having followed on, with Tom Moores making a maiden first-class century as they set a target of 248, but the end came swiftly after tea on the final day.

Somerset take 22 points, and lead Surrey by one, with Notts earning just two.
