Hampshire v Yorkshire 315-7
All over at the Ageas Bowl and it's a better end to the day for Yorkshire compared to their start!
From being reduced to 21-3 inside the first 12 overs, Gary Ballance's 109 helped steer Yorkshire to more respectable end to the day.
Tim Bresnan (33*) and Steven Patterson (18*) will be at the helm when the second day gets under way on Thursday with Yorkshire on 315-7.
Hampshire v Yorkshire 315-7
This is a decent finish to the day for Yorkshire, with Tim Bresnan and Steven Patterson not exactly batting conservatively.
There's boundaries all over the shop as the pair of them steer their side to 315-7 as we approach the final over of the day.
Hampshire v Yorkshire 303-7
Tim Bresnan is doing his best to see out the day for Yorkshire and prevent them from losing another needless wicket.
Not a great over for Fidel Edwards, he concedes three boundaries as the White Rose cross the 300-run mark and ensure another batting point.
Hampshire v Yorkshire 288-7
We still have seven overs left in Southampton today and play can continue until 10pm if needed.
Fortunately, it's still pretty light at the Ageas Bowl, floodlights aside.
Gotta love summer.
Northants 282 v Glos 25-1
Gloucestershire close out day one on 25-1 after Northants posted 282 earlier in on Wednesday.
Visiting captain Chris Dent is the only Gloucestershire batsman to fall having added 11 runs with his side trailing by 257 runs.
Dent lbw b Crook 11 (Northants 282 v Glos 25-1)
Bit of a breakthrough for Northants on the verge of stumps on day one against Gloucestershire.
Chris Dent is trapped lbw by Steve Crook.

Leaning b Edwards 39 (Hampshire v Yorkshire 277-6)
Ah sorry Jack. I think I might have jinxed him, there.
No sooner had I said Jack Leaning was approaching a half century, he's bowled by Fidel Edwards.
Hampshire v Yorkshire 276-6
Jack Leaning is 11 runs from a potential half century however the day is going to draw to a close relatively soon.
Can he reach the 50 mark? How close can Yorkshire come to 300? So many questions!
Northants 282 v Glos 22-0
A minimum of five overs left in Northampton and Chris Dent and Benny Howell are doing well to close out the day for Gloucestershire.
They're 22 without loss so far.
Hampshire v Yorkshire 261-6
Jack Leaning and Tim Bresnan are weathering the storm quite well for Yorkshire after a flurry of wickets from Dale Steyn.
The White Rose are 261-6 with 18 overs remaining.
Northants 282 v Glos 1-0
A new ball in Northampton!
Benny Howell and Chris Dent will open the batting for Gloucestershire, as Rory Kleinveldt bowls.
Hampshire v Yorkshire 252-6
Bit of a let off for Jack Leaning at the Ageas Bowl. He's been dropped at first slip by Hampshire captain James Vince.
Leaning, who's on 29 as things stand, survives for another day.
Hutton c Hankins b Higgins 12 (Northants 282 v Glos)
Northamptonshire are all out for 282 against Gloucestershire as Brett Hutton edges to George Hankins off the bowling of Ryan Higgins for 12 runs.
Gloucestershire will have about 15 overs in the day to get their innings under way.
Tattersall c Rayner b Steyn 6 (Hampshire v Yorkshire 245-5)
Hampshire have got a second bowling point before Yorkshire have got a second batting point.
Dale Steyn has another wicket under the Ageas Bowl floodlights as he removes Jonathan Tattersall.
Better stuff from the hosts, here.
Crook c Noema-Barnett b Higgins 35 (Northants 277-9 v Glos)
Could Northamptonshire's opening innings be coming to an end sooner rather than later?
Steven Crook is caught by Kieran Noema-Barnett for 35 from the bowling of Ryan Higgins.
Ben Sanderson joins Brett Hutton.

I'm pleased to tell you that I've been absolutely inundated with tweets asking me whether I enjoyed my cup of tea*. Well, I hate to break it to you, but I didn't.
Quite frankly it tasted like a hot mug of mint sauce. Unpleasant, I'm sure you'll agree.
Anyway, how are you enjoying the cricket this evening? Do you have one eye on the football? Are you settling down for a big mug of cocoa? Or maybe something cooler in this balmy summer weather we're having.
Use #bbccricket and let me know.
*This is a big fat fib.
Ballance c Northeast b Steyn 109 (Hampshire v Yorkshire 235-4)
Eh up, Gary Ballance is out for 109!
The 'Steyn Remover' Dale Steyn has done the damage, as Ballance swats the ball away and is caught by Sam Northeast.
A cracking innings however, and he's warmly applauded off.
Northants 270-8 v Glos
20 overs left between Northants and Gloucestershire.
Brett Hutton's hit six runs since coming to the crease. Can they see the day out without losing another wicket?
Hampshire v Yorkshire 228-4
The floodlights are on at the Ageas Bowl and the evening session is under way between Hampshire and Yorkshire. This is not a drill.
Dale Steyn is bowling for the hosts and Jack Leaning is at strike for Yorkshire.
Meanwhile, I've made myself a nice rose and mint tea to see me through tonight. Saucy, I know.
