    Northants 266-8 v Glos

Five more runs for Northamptonshire since Rory Kleinveldt was forced into a walk back to the pavilion.

They're ticking along, but could do with adding a few more runs in the final session.

At least 24 overs remain in the day.

A cracking knock from Gary Ballance.

He takes his helmet off and raises his bat after hitting a boundary to ensure his century.

He's done it just in time for tea, too. There's only two balls left!

Colin Ackermann has kept Leicestershire in the game with an unbeaten 151 off 268 balls, reaching the landmark off the last delivery of the day against Middlesex.

It was a hard-fought day for both sides and the visitors looked to be taking control of the game when they reduced the home side to 198-5.

Ackermann has been well supported by Neil Dexter (66) and Ben Raine (37).

Tim Murtagh bowled with good rhythm all the way through for 5-52 from 23 overs.

After taking a bit of punishment earlier in the day's play Gloucestershire have fought back well at Northampton, where the home side declined from 99-0 after just 18 overs to 220-6, with three batsmen passing 50 without going on to make a big score.

Matt Taylor has been the key wicket taker with 4-70, including the important wicket of Ben Duckett, caught behind by Gareth Roderick for 52 off 54 balls.

Steven Crook (23 not out) and Saif Zaib (6 not out) will resume after the break.

A truncated day's play ends in south Wales, with Glamorgan in a bit of trouble.

Play did not get under way until 15:20 BST because of rain, and then the home batsmen struggled apart from Chris Cooke (69).

Tony Palladino shone with the ball, taking four wickets.

    Thanks Gary.

It's almost tea in Southampton with Yorkshire currently 216-4 in their first innings against Hampshire, as we approach the final session of the day.

Or should that be 'dinner'? Either way, I'm hungry.

  14. Warwickshire all out at Tunbridge Wellspublished at 18:33 British Summer Time 20 June 2018

    Kent 197 v Warwickshire 125

Warwickshire would've been pleased to dismiss Kent for 197 but they're up against it now after crashing to 125 all out in reply.

Jonathan Trott added a precious 54 runs with Henry Brookes, who edged Matt Henry to slip for 28 and Oliver Hannon-Dalby was caught behind off Henry first ball to leave Trott stranded on 51.

    Sussex 422-5 v Durham

A wonderful day for Sussex youngsters Philip Salt and Tom Haines, who both scored maiden first class centuries. Durham rallied late in the day to take two wickets for four runs to leave the visitors on 364-5, but Michael Burgess and Ben Brown have plundered 75 runs in 10.3 overs off a tiring Durham attack since then.

Ben Brown reached 50 just before the close off 49 balls with nine fours. Michael Burgess is unbeaten on 30 from 30 balls. Sussex are very much in charge at Arundel.

    Surrey 351-5 v Somerset

    It's also time at Surrey.

The hosts will sleep well after a good day with the bat.

Half-centuries for Rory Burns, Scott Borthwick and an unbeaten 73 from in-form Ollie Pope has taken them past 350.

Early wickets for Somerset tomorrow mind, and they'll still feel like they're in this game.
