    Lancashire 234-2 (target 602)

Shiv Chanderpaul, 44 in August, is getting into his groove at New Road.

The West Indian has stroked his way up to 28 off 33 balls.

Keaton Jennings is 118 not out.

If Lancashire close on 300-2, I'm not sure Worcestershire will sleep that easy. 14 overs to go on day three.

  2. Division Two round-uppublished at 17:31 British Summer Time 22 June 2018

There are four matches in progress...

Middlesex are making steady progress towards a target of 381 to beat Leicestershire at Grace Road after the early loss of Max Holden. They're 346 behind on 35-1.

Warwickshire have given Kent something to think about at Tunbridge Wells, where they're 195-1 chasing 519 to win.

Usman Khawaja and Kiran Carlson have steered Glamorgan into the lead against Derbyshire at Swansea. They're now 45 in front on 124-3.

Stuart Poynter and Nathan Rimmington are keeping Durham afloat at Arundel, but the visitors still need 77 to avoid an innings defeat by Sussex. They're on 264-7.

    Hampshire 365-7 v Yorkshire 350

This eighth-wicket stand is getting into annoying territory for Yorkshire now.

Gareth Berg (33*) and Kyle Abbott (31*) have put on 55 in 13 overs.

The lead is 15 and growing.

    Essex 39-3 (target 441)

    Tom KeastImage source, Rex Features

Tom Keast is now keeping for Nottinghamshire after taking the gloves from Riki Wessels. It appears regular keeper Tom Moores picked up an ankle injury while batting.

Keast is a 19-year-old who has played second XI cricket for Notts.

Meanwhile, Dan Lawrence and Ravi Bopara are ticking along for Essex. They're caught between a rock and a hard place at the moment, with 18 overs left in the day.

  5. Hampshire move into leadpublished at 17:18 British Summer Time 22 June 2018

    Hampshire 351-7 v Yorkshire 350

Kyle Abbott and Gareth Berg are doing a cracking job for Hampshire in this middle session.

They've taken their side into a first-innings lead with a stand of 41.

How many can they edge in front?

  6. Division Two round-uppublished at 17:16 British Summer Time 22 June 2018

    Here's the latest...

Leicestershire are in control at Grace Road, where Middlesex are 27-1 chasing 381 to win.

Warwickshire are 190-1 in their second innings at Tunbridge Wells, trailing Kent by 329. Dominic Sibley and Ian Bell have both passed 50 for the visitors.

Glamorgan have a slender lead over Derbyshire at Swansea. They're 108-3 in their second innings - 29 runs in front.

Durham's Nathan Rimmington and Stuart Poynter are battling hard to keep Sussex at bay in Arundel. The visitors are following on and have reached 241-7, trailing by 100.

Ettiene Terblanche: In 2005, Keaton Jennings was a 13-year-old spectator when his dad, Ray, coached the Proteas against the West Indies, featuring the legendary Shiv Chanderpaul. Right now they are batting together at Worcester. Isn't life beautiful?

It certainly is. And Lancashire have just gone past 200 - they're a third of the way to their target!

    Hampshire 333-7 v Yorkshire 350

Runs are coming quite nicely for Hampshire after the first interval.

Gareth Berg and Kyle Abbott's stand is already up to 23 in good time.

The hosts are in sight of a first-innings lead.

  9. Glamorgan move ahead of Derbyshirepublished at 17:01 British Summer Time 22 June 2018

    Glamorgan 283 & 83-3 (24 overs) v Derbyshire 362

Plenty more work to be done on a wicket that has played well since a clatter of wickets on day one.

Kiran Carlson and Usman Khawaja steer Glamorgan to 83-3 after 24 overs to lead by four.

    Westley b Fletcher 9 (Essex 31-3, target 441)

That Essex ship is now taking on water...

Tom Westley's miserable campaign continues as he is bowled by big Luke Fletcher for nine.

Nottinghamshire are rampant at the home of the defending champions.

    Essex 31-2 (target 441)

Tom Westley and Dan Lawrence have steadied the ship slightly for Essex since those early couple of wickets.

They'll surely have to see out the remaining 24 overs on day three at Chelmsford though if Essex are going to get anything from the game.

  12. Division Two round-uppublished at 16:52 British Summer Time 22 June 2018

High drama in the Middlesex second innings at Grace Road where Max Holden was dismissed in the first over. They're now 4-1. The target is 381 to beat Leicestershire.

Durham are holding on at Arundel but at 211-7 they remain 130 behind Sussex following on.

Glamorgan are 5 behind Derbyshire at Swansea on 74-3.

Warwickshire are faring much better in their second innings on 133-1 but still need another 386 to beat Kent at Tunbridge Wells.

    Lancashire 188-2 (target 602)

    Keaton JenningsImage source, Getty Images

Meanwhile, a few deliveries after Haseeb Hameed's dismissal, England's current opener goes to his hundred with a 20th boundary of the innings.

Superb from Keaton Jennings. He'll need to at least double that, or even triple it, to get Lancashire anywhere near this record target.

    Worcestershire are still big favourites.

    Hameed lbw b D'Oliveira (Lancs 184-2, target 602)

You have to feel a bit for Haseeb Hameed.

He was one of England's brightest prospects, he still might be, but his miserable run is showing no signs of stopping,

Brett D'Oliveira pins the 21-year-old lbw offering no shot, and he's out for 20.

That's his highest score of the season, but he only has 64 runs in 10 innings.

    Hampshire 311-7 v Yorkshire 350

Play has resumed after lunch in the day-night game.

Can Hampshire get any sort of lead?

Gareth Berg and Kyle Abbott, both capable lower-order batsmen are at the crease.

  16. Max Holden out in the first over at Grace Roadpublished at 16:44 British Summer Time 22 June 2018

    Leicestershire 427 & 186 v Middlesex 233 & 0-1

Max Holden gets an absolute snorter from Ben Raine, which he can only fence to the keeper.

    Worst possible start for Middlesex.

Leicestershire have a great chance to consolidate their place in the top three of the second division table, while Middlesex need a win to move out of the bottom three.

    381 to win.

    Lancashire 178-1 (target 602)

Keaton Jennings is in some nick this season.

The England opener is now just 10 away from a third County Championship century of the season.

Lancashire might need 300 from the 26-year-old if they are going to complete a remarkable victory at New Road.

    It can't happen can it?

  18. 'We have to regroup'published at 16:35 British Summer Time 22 June 2018

Reaction: Surrey beat Somerset by an innings & 69 runs

    Somerset batsman James Hildreth:

"It's obviously disappointing, and probably down to a mixture of bad batting by us and some good bowling by Surrey. They kept coming at us and Rikki Clarke, in particular, has become a really good bowler in the last few years and with the bat I was really impressed with Ollie Pope, he looks a fine prospect.

"We will just have to regroup and get back to it against Essex on Monday.

"Jack Leach won't play because of the concussion protocol, he is out for seven days but he's okay."

  19. Middlesex need 381 to beat Leicestershirepublished at 16:33 British Summer Time 22 June 2018

    Leicestershire 427 & 186 v Middlesex 233 - tea

    Kevin Hand
    BBC Radio London

After a slow start to the day, Leicestershire once again ground Middlesex down by recovering from 65-5 to 186 all out at Tea.

That leaves the visitors with a mammoth task on a pitch of increasingly unreliable bounce - Callum Parkinson was trapped LBW by a short ball that pitched outside off from Steven Finn but kept low and jagged in.

Ben Raine's cameo accelerated what had been a defiant effort from the hosts, but the final two wickets added 53 - which will be a great frustration for Middlesex, who lost their last six wickets for 33 in their first innings.

  20. 'We are producing good performances'published at 16:32 British Summer Time 22 June 2018

Reaction: Surrey beat Somerset by an innings & 69 runs

    Rory BurnsImage source, Rex Features

Here's a bit of reaction from Surrey captain Rory Burns after his side moved to the top of Division One:

"We're very pleased, especially to get a win at Guildford. It's been a while since that happened.

"There was some good partnerships all the way through when we batted to set the game up and Ollie Pope was exceptional again, he is cashing in when he's in form and long may it continue.

"There was a thought about batting again last night but the bowlers felt fresh and we've won our previous two games the same way and I thought the way we went about things as a group we bowled very well, our seamers were outstanding.

"We are producing good performances and can now look forward to another really competitive game against Yorkshire at Scarborough next week with a lot of confidence."
