Prepare yourself for this Jack... Peter Smith scored 163 for Essex against Derbyshire at Chesterfield in 1947! He came in at 199-9 and Essex eventually made 414. Crazy.

  14. Derbyshire pile on the agonypublished at 14:54 British Summer Time 22 June 2018

    Glamorgan 283 v Derbyshire 360-9

    Nick Webb
    BBC Wales Sport

Derbyshire’s sixth wicket pair of Gary Wilson and Matt Critchley were piling on the agony for Glamorgan in the Swansea sunshine, only to be parted by a bizarre run-out.

Critchley took a quick single to reach his 50, the ball cannoned off the bowlers’ end stumps and Wilson was looking for an overthrow, only to be sent back and beaten by Prem Sisodiya’s throw.

Sisodiya, the 19-year-old spinner, then bowled Tony Palladino for 0 to claim his maiden first-class wicket, and Andrew Salter had Hamidullah Qadri caught behind without scoring.

Three wickets had fallen for two runs after a long period of batting dominance.

  15. Division Two updatepublished at 14:52 British Summer Time 22 June 2018

BBC Sport Wales' Nick Webb has an update from Swansea...
