  1. Division Two round-uppublished at 15:59 British Summer Time 10 September 2018

Dom Sibley is 81 not out for Warwickshire, who are coasting on 123-0 after dismissing Leicestershire for 100. Can Sibley join Yorkshire's Tom Kohler-Cadmore in making a ton on this bowler-friendly day?

Durham have lost four more wickets since we last checked in, including captain Paul Collingwood going for five. They're 92-7 with David Wiese taking 3-12 for Sussex so far.

16 wickets have fallen today at Lord's. After Middlesex were skittled for 161, Kent are struggling even more on 54-6 with James Fuller (3-16) leading the way for the hosts with the ball.

Northants are on the verge of a batting point - they're 195-8 against Derbyshire - Saif Zaib and Nathan Buck both into double figures.

At Sophia Gardens Gloucestershire are 65-2 in reply to Glamorgan's 137 all out. James Bracey is going along nicely on 30.

  2. Lancashire start steadilypublished at 15:56 British Summer Time 10 September 2018

    Yorkshire 209, Lancashire 14-0

Four overs gone in the Lancashire reply. And Ben Coad and Jack Brooks are yet to forge a breakthrough. Three boundaries so far, two of them from Alex Davies.

The closest the Tykes have come under the Headingley lights was off the very first ball, from Coad to Karl Brown.

    Adams c Davies b Davey 31 (Hampshire 59-4 v Somerset 106)

Somerset have their breakthrough and tea is taken.

James Adams is caught in two minds - perhaps playing for the interval - and it's a tentative prod which sees him caught behind on 31 by Steve Davies.

Josh Davey has the wicket and Hampshire are 59-4, trailing by 47.

  4. Bears in total controlpublished at 15:46 British Summer Time 10 September 2018

    Leicestershire 100, Warwickshire 123-0

    Mike Taylor
    BBC WM

With the weather forecast indicating that this might effectively turn into a three-day game, Warwickshire have acted on the need to press on by turning in two more-or-less perfect sessions, and already have a useful lead.

They rolled Leicestershire in two-and-a-quarter hours of bowling, concluded shortly after lunch when Chris Wright took his only wicket of the innings, against his employers next season,

Without taking any obvious liberties, Will Rhodes and Dominic Sibley then marched the Bears into the lead without being separated.

Rhodes has had the more prosperous season of the two, both in their first full campaign with the club. But, on this occasion Sibley was the more prominent, advancing his score rapidly with a volley of boundaries off Usman Arshad, four in succession in one over, then three more in Arshad's next. And, by tea, Warwickshire were in credit, with home skipper Paul Horton's options largely exhausted.

  5. Postpublished at 15:42 British Summer Time 10 September 2018

    Hampshire 59-3 v Somerset

Hampshire are more than halfway to Somerset's total of 106 with tea approaching in Southampton.

James Adams (31*) and Sam Northeast (24*) have added 47 runs, taking Hampshire to the dizzy heights of 59-3.

Somerset could do with a breakthrough soon...

  6. Postpublished at 15:39 British Summer Time 10 September 2018

    Notts 177 v Essex 9-0

Essex debutant Murali Vijay gets off the mark.

The Indian batsman went for a pair at Lord's against England this month but avoids a third in a row after edging one from Mark Footitt early on.

The defending champions are 9-0 in response to Notts' 177 all out.

  7. Tea at New Roadpublished at 15:37 British Summer Time 10 September 2018

    Worcestershire 165-5 Hampshire

Ross Whiteley goes to tea on 50 not out at New Road.

It's his first in red-ball cricket this season (his best score of the summer was against the pink ball under the lights against Notts at Trent Bridge).

But it's due reward for the decision promote him to number five in the absence of stand-in skipper Brett D’Oliveira and keeper Ben Cox, who has been replaced behind the stumps by Alex Milton.

  9. Back under way at Trent Bridgepublished at 15:30 British Summer Time 10 September 2018

    Notts 177 v Essex 0-0

They're back from their early tea at Trent Bridge and Essex are beginning their first innings.

India batsmen Murali Vijay is out for his debut, opening alongside Nick Browne.

Notts scored 177, we'll now start to see how good or otherwise that score is...

  10. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:30 British Summer Time 10 September 2018

    Milton c Foakes b Morkel 7 (Worcs 165-5)

Alex Milton was preferred to Worcestershire's Ben Cox for this game as wicketkeeper.

But, after one or two useful scores of late, he fails here, caught behind by fellow keeper Ben Foakes to give Morne Morkel his first wicket of the day.

  11. Can Hampshire reap rewards of pitch?published at 15:28 British Summer Time 10 September 2018

    Hampshire 46-3 v Somerset 106

    Kevan James
    Sport Presenter, BBC Radio Solent

Three early wickets for Somerset confirmed the dominance the bowlers have had over the batsmen so far today.

The heavy roller was used between innings.

The theory here is that whilst the moisture will be brought near to the surface in the short term - meaning batting is just as tricky, if not more so - the wicket should then deaden down quicker.

The trick for Hampshire is to bat long enough to reap the rewards.

  12. 50 runs

50 Ross Whiteleypublished at 15:28 British Summer Time 10 September 2018

    Worcestershire 165-4 v Surrey

Worcestershire's second half-centurion of the day. Ross Whiteley's 50 is a restrained effort by his more notorious one-day standards, off 78 balls, but he has still hit nine fours.

  13. Tea at Headingleypublished at 15:23 British Summer Time 10 September 2018

    Yorkshire 209 v Lancashire

The dismissal of Ben Coad means a slightly early tea at Headingley.

Apart from TKC's 105 not out, only four other Yorkshire players made double figures in that innings, fifth-wicket partner Jonny Tattersall (33), skipper Steven Patterson (17) opener Adam Lyth (16) and last man Ben Coad (12).

We'll now have to wait 20 minutes to see how Lancashire fare on it.

  14. Postpublished at 15:22 British Summer Time 10 September 2018

    Hampshire 42-3 v Somerset 106

Craig Overton thinks Sam Northeast gets an outside edge but the umpire says no despite a rather loud appeal.

Watch the clip below and decide for yourself...

Unbelievably, Northeast's 30-run partnership with James Adams is the biggest of the day in Southampton.

  15. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:20 British Summer Time 10 September 2018

    Coad c Bohannon b Gleeson 12 (Yorkshire 209 v Lancashire)

No sooner have Yorkshire collected their first batting point than Ben Coad departs, to give Richard Gleeson his third wicket.

Tom Kohler-Cadmore remains unbeaten on 105, having hit 16 fours and a six to help dig Yorkshire out of a hole.

  16. First batting point of the daypublished at 15:19 British Summer Time 10 September 2018

    Yorkshire 208-9 v Lancashire

On a day of 85 wickets so far (spread across nine matches in the two divisions), only one team has earned a batting bonus point. And that is Yorkshire at Headingley, in the Roses Match.

  17. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:11 British Summer Time 10 September 2018

    Fletcher c Ten Doeschate b Quinn 30 (Notts 177 v Essex)

Matthew Quinn is back into the attack and with his first ball Luke Fletcher has a swing and is caught by Ryan ten Doeschate.

It's a tame end to the Notts innings but they added 73 runs for the last two wickets to reach 177 at Trent Bridge.

Quinn ends with four wickets, Fletcher goes for 30, Footitt is 21 not out and we're taking an early tea.

  18. Postpublished at 15:09 British Summer Time 10 September 2018

    Notts 177-9 v Essex

White Essex struggle to get the final Notts wicket, they've paid tribute to absent batsman Alastair Cook.

The England legend has been caught behind for 147 against India at the Oval in his final Test innings.

But the 33-year-old has recently signed a new three-year deal with Essex so won't be completely retiring anytime soon.

  19. 100 runs

    100 Tom Kohler-Cadmorepublished at 15:06 British Summer Time 10 September 2018

    Yorkshire 193-3 v Lancashire

Tom Kohler-Cadmore's second ton in successive Championship innings.

Dropped on 44 just before lunch off Graham Onions by Lancashire keeper Dane Vilas, he has gone on to keep Yorkshire afloat in this Roses Match almost single-handed with his sixth first-class century - and his second for Yorkshire (after previously making four for Worcestershire).

In his last three games, he has now had scores of 81, 0, 106 and now 101 not out.

  20. Postpublished at 15:02 British Summer Time 10 September 2018

    Notts 170-9 v Essex

Mark Footitt has his highest score for Notts - passing the 19 not out he scored for them in 2005. He has of course played elsewhere in that time.

He's onto 20 with Luke Fletcher 24 not out at the other end.

Notts are up to 170-9 at Trent Bridge.
