    Dernbach c Tongue b Pennington 6 (Surrey 268 all out, Worcestershire 336)

Jade Dernbach is last man out at New Road for 6, well caught by Josh Tongue having a yahoo at Dillon Pennington.

Surrey are all out for 268. They trail by 68 runs.

They are very unlikely to win the title today - unless they now go out and bowl out Worcestershire very cheaply.

    Kohler-Cadmore lbw Maharaj 63 (Yorks 209 & 175-4, Lancs 252)

Hope for Lancashire as Keshav Maharaj earns an LBW decision to remove unbeaten first-innings centurion Tom Kohler-Cadmore for the first time in the match, for 63.

It ended his 148-run stand with Gary Ballance, who has now moved on to 85.

But, with a lead now of 141 - and still six wickets in hand - the Tykes' fourth-wicket pair may have already won them this Roses match.

  4. wicket

    Burns c Parnell b Barnard 122 (Surrey 262-9, Worcestershire 336)

Surrey skipper Rory Burns attempts to pull Ed Barnard, but gets a toe-ender - and is caught by Wayne Parnell.

The visitors still trail by 74. Those five batting points now looking very unlikely.

  5. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:31 British Summer Time 12 September 2018

Stevens lbw Fuller 5 (Kent 144-7, target 156)

In Division Two, Kent need 12 runs to win but have lost Darren Stevens and only have three wickets remaining.

The 42-year-old falls lbw to James Fuller at Lord's, leaving Kent 144-7 against Middlesex.

Harry Podmore joins skipper Sam Billings, who is on 20 not out.

    Simon HarmerImage source, Rex Features

Kraigg Brathwaite out for 68 in his final innings at Notts.

He's trapped on his back foot to a rather full off-break delivery from Essex's Simon Harmer. The West Indies batsman should get forward more there.

Notts 161-2 - leading by 105 runs - with Jake Libby joining Luke Fletcher.

  8. Kent six down, needing 14 to winpublished at 11:16 British Summer Time 12 September 2018

    Division Two round-up

Kent have lost Heino Kuhn lbw to James Fuller for 39, leaving them 142-6 - needing 20 more to beat Middlesex.

Captain Sam Billings looks steady on 18 and they still have four wickets in hand. Experienced head Darren Stevens has joined him.

Craig Miles is batting for Gloucestershire - his move to Warwickshire next season has been announced since he came to the crease. They're 306-7 against Glamorgan, leading by 169 runs, with Jack Taylor not out on 111.

Cameron Steel has moved onto 134, with Durham 254-5 in their second innings against Sussex. They have a lead of 239 at Chester-le-Street.

Leicestershire have lost Paul Horton early in their second innings against Warwickshire - they're 22-1, trailing by a massive 278 runs.

Derbyshire have lost Alex Hughes for 75 and are struggling on 137-6 against Northants, who made 255 in their first innings.

Rory Burns has moved on to 121 as Surrey go past 250 to claim their second batting bonus point at New Road.

Just three more points needed now to win the title, which they can do today if they reach 400 inside the all-important 110-over mark.

43 overs left to make another 146. Three wickets left.

  10. Mo in, out and in again for Pearspublished at 11:05 British Summer Time 12 September 2018

    Surrey 243-7, Worcestershire 336

Worcestershire have mixed news about the availability of England all-rounder Moeen Ali.

Although he has, as expected, been confirmed for this weekend's T20 Finals Day (when he could be up against England team-mates Jos Buttler, Jimmy Anderson and Keaton Jennings in the semi against Lancashire), he is not available for next week's potentially crucial County Championship game against Essex at Chelmsford.

Moeen will, however, be available to play for Worcestershire in their final Championship fixture against Yorkshire at New Road (24-27 September).

    Notts 177 & 143-1 v Essex 233

    Luke FletcherImage source, Rex Features

Notts nightwatchman Luke Fletcher is still going strong, but he's had an eventful first half an hour this morning.

He had treatment from the physio after being hit on the elbow by an Essex throw and was given a reprieve after getting out to a no ball.

Fletcher has since hit a couple boundaries and is up to 14, with Notts 143-1.

Ben Foakes, originally due to bat number five but absent yesterday due to illness, comes to the crease at number nine.

  14. Kent lose wicket in first overpublished at 10:48 British Summer Time 12 September 2018

    Division Two round-up

Second-placed Kent need 41 runs to beat Middlesex after losing Daniel Bell-Drummond with the fifth ball of the day at Lord's.

He fell LBW to Ethan Bamber for 28, and Kent are 115-5 with Heino Kuhn still going strong.

Jack Taylor has his century for Gloucestershire, who are closing in on a third batting point at Glamorgan. They're 293-6 after bowling the Welsh county out for 137.

Durham have lost Axar Patel but Cameron Steel remains in on 115, with them 223-5 in their second innings against Sussex, with a lead of 204 runs.

Alex Hughes is still in on 74 with Derbyshire 122-4 against Northants, who made 255 in their first innings.

  15. 50 runs

    50 for Tom Kohler-Cadmorepublished at 10:46 British Summer Time 12 September 2018

    Yorkshire 290 & 143-3, Lancashire 252

After his first-innings century, Tom Kohler-Cadmore maintains his good run of form at Headingley. He follows Gary Ballance's lead the night before in reaching his second-innings half-century.

These two have now put on 116 together.

One piece of good news for the Red Rose this morning is that England opener Keaton Jennings has been made available to play for Lancashire in their final fixture against Hampshire at Southampton from 24-27 September.

A decision will be made on whether Jimmy Anderson will play depending on fitness and the results of next week's games.

If results go against Lancashire next week, when the Red Rose are without a game, it could be too late by then.

Anderson, Jos Buttler and Keaton Jennings are all available to Lancashire for T20 Finals Day this Saturday.

But Yorkshire will not see Joe Root, Jonny Bairstow or Adil Rashid again this season.

  17. Full batting points for Bearspublished at 10:38 British Summer Time 12 September 2018

    Leicestershire 100, Warwickshire 400-9 dec

A good start to the day for Division Two leaders Warwickshire as they claim their fifth batting point - then promptly declare at Grace Road.

They needed 16 runs off 12 balls to do it - but needed only 10, Chris Woakes completing the job with a six and a four off Ben Mike.

The Bears have a first-innings lead of exactly 300. Easy one for the non-mathematicians to follow this match!

  19. Parnell fit to resume at New Roadpublished at 10:34 British Summer Time 12 September 2018

    Surrey 216-6, Worcestershire 336

Wayne Parnell is fit and well to bowl the opening over for Worcestershire against fellow South African Morne Morkel at New Road.

He went off yesterday after splitting the webbing in his bowling hand - but is fit ro resume after being 'glued' together.

The Pears still have a 12th man on though. Joe Clarke is off with a back spasm.

Due to added overs from yesterday, meaning a 104-over day today, lunch will be at 12.40, with a resumption at 1.20.

  20. Play under waypublished at 10:30 British Summer Time 12 September 2018
