That must be curtains for Sri Lanka now. I believe Joe Root is keen to get this over and done with today so he can watch the Sheffield derby tonight!

What a start to the session! England in a hurry and they've got the last big wicket to fall. Angelo Mathews is done as Moeen gets turn, but more importantly, gets one to stick in the pitch and die. No pace, Mathews mistimes his shot and can only chip the ball straight to the waiting Jos Buttler.

The shoulders arms is a very nice touch. Colleague Ross tells me there's a pub called The Long Hop in Sittingbourne on the edge of a cricket club. Superb.

I don't know any hostelries in Galle but they will be busy this evening. Adil Rashid ends his over with more turn and bounce.

Gareth Barnes: pub chain name? The corridor of uncertainty perfect after nine pints...

Martin Saunders: I see that challenge #bbccricket, external - a chain of cricket themed bars you say? If you want pun-based, how about Spin and Tonic.

    Mathews 52, Perera 1

England need four wickets to wrap this up today. Do you fancy them? Adil Rashid, who was ragging it square before the break, gets plenty of turn first up.

That was a great sharp catch from Ben Stokes. Starting after an interval always takes you two or three balls. You have got to fancy England to finish this tonight.

That was a great catch actually, one handed. Dickwella could have left the ball but pushed hard at it. In comes Dilruwan Perera.

I'm no psychologist but Sri Lanka have lost a wicket to the first ball after tea in both innings. Something is not right there...

  11. wicket

    Dickwella c Stokes b Moeen 16 (SL 190-6)

Wicket first ball after tea! Straight up.

Niroshan Dickwella has had a nightmare there, a walk out to the middle followed by an instant dismissal. He nicks Moeen's first ball straight to Ben Stokes at slip. Sharp catch.

The players are back out on the field, but keep your sporting pub names comnig. They are doing a fine job of making me laugh/keeping me awake..

    Sobers is a brilliant shout.

Re cricket pub chain. I'm guessing 'Sobers' isn't going to be a very popular choice.

How about 'Sticky Wicket' for the cricket pub? Sounds like a top class establishment to me!

I'll see if Vaughan wants to invest.

I've never been to Galle - but it may well be the most picturesque sporting venue on earth.

It's a toss up between there or Kenilworth Road.

There's a gap in the market here for a chain of bars where you can watch Test cricket all over the globe. What shall we call it?

Bat & Pad? Yorkers? Cow Corner?
