  1. Pak 55-3published at 10 overs

    Babar 34, Sarfaraz 14

Tom Curran has his collar turned up and his hair slicked back as ever. He looks a man full of confidence after his four wickets in the last game and a good knock earlier.

Babar flicks one off his hip behind square for four on the final ball of his over which means 12 runs come from the six balls. Expensive.

That's the end of the first powerplay.

David Willey's opening spell ends with 0-26 after four overs.

One of his rivals for a World Cup place, Tom Curran, will now stake his claim.

  3. Pak 43-3published at 9 overs

    Babar 28, Sarfaraz 8

England are well on top thanks to a magic early burst from Chris Woakes. He had three wickets to his name before conceding a run.

His fifth over is a quiet one and the pressure increases on Pakistan.

  4. Pak 40-3published at 8 overs

    Target 352

Pakistan captain Sarfaraz hasn't fired with the bat in this series. His best score is 41* with a couple of other knocks in the twenties. This is a chance for him to get some middle time.

The right-hander has that big crouch from the knees when the bowler gets to the crease. He'll pay for that when he's retired.

  5. Pak 34-3published at 7 overs

    Babar 24, Sarfaraz 4

Woakes drags it back at the end of the over. Babar Azam may have crashed a few boundaries but his side are still well behind the rate. The required rate has jumped to 7.39 an over.

  7. Pak 34-3published at 6.1 overs

Babar looks like he wants to do this all by himself. That's unlikely but he wants to give it a good go. He's hogging the strike and Pakistan won't mind. Woakes is punished for dropping short.

The DLS par score at the end of the sixth over was 112, according to the Headingley scoreboard...

  9. Pak 30-3published at 6 overs

    Target 352

There has been nothing from David Willey so far to swing the selectors minds' in his favour. He's bowled okay but nothing special.

  10. Pak 29-3published at 5.4 overs

Woweee. Babar Azam is batting on a different pitch to his team-mates. He isn't concerned by a hint of swing or a bit of seam movement. He drives a second successive boundary.

  11. Pak 25-3published at 5.3 overs

Again Babar Azam finds the boundary. He's having a great series. David Willey is sent back to the top of his run with a few questions in his mind.

Great bowling and a cheeky Beefy impression (1992 World Cup) with the celebration from Chris Woakes and Joe Root...

  13. Pak 20-3published at 5 overs

    Target 352

    Handwarmers in May... Disgraceful.

Babar Azam has reminded us this isn't a Headingley green seamer of old. He ends the over with another boundary - an excellent back-foot punch. Babar can certainly bat. He's brilliant to watch. It'll take a monumental effort to rack up another century from here.

The two busiest men on the ground are England subs Jofra Archer and Joe Denly. Three wickets have had the drinks on three times, while Joe Root calls for what I think were handwarmers. Jofra has an England rucksack, a strap on each shoulder, like he has just been to the merchandise stand.

  15. Pak 14-3published at 4.2 overs

Chris Woakes has conceded a run - four of them in fact.

He tries a bouncer to Babar Zazam but the Pakistan number three confidently pulls for four.

  17. Pak 10-3published at 4 overs

    Babar 1, Sarfaraz 1

We've just been shown the ball-tracking of the second lbw decision in that Woakes over. It shows the ball would have gone over the top and the decision would have been overturned if Pakistan had reviewed! I'm not just saying this, my initial reaction was it was too high. Hafeez had a little glance at his batting partner but decided against the review.

    He's out anyway.

David Willey can't find any of the Chris Woakes magic. He looks a little easier to face.

We're seeing movement both ways and that one nipped back in rapidly off the surface. There was no foot movement at all. Maybe it was a touch high but at the end of the day he was trapped smack in front. Chris Woakes is on fire.

  19. Pak 6-3published at 3 overs

Chris Woakes has followed a wicket maiden with a double-wicket maiden.

    He currently has 3-0.

That's dead! Trapped on the crease! Pakistan are in a world of trouble here.
