Nicholas Pooran pushes into the covers and takes on the quick single. Eoin Morgan picks up, turns and throws but misses the stumps. Pooran would've been home anyway.

Bang! Shimron Hetmyer swivels and powerfully pulls Liam Plunkett over the leaping Joe Root at mid-wicket for four.

You are the umpire. Do you give this out in real time?

    (The answer should be yes).

Another fine over from Mark Wood, putting the squeeze on.

That was a genuine edge from Pooran, and it wasn't too far away from slip. It went under Joe Root's hand.

  8. WI 61-3published at 15.4 overs

Oooh. Mark Wood draws the edge from Nicholas Pooran and it flies just beyond Joe Root's grab at first slip.

A fine delivery, great length and nipping away from the left-hander. Pooran gets one for it.

Three times a West Indies batsman taps Liam Plunkett into the leg side and look to pick up two.

Three times they just have to settle for one as Jonny Bairstow races in and picks it up one-handed.

    Fine fielding.

    Time for drinks.

If Roy has done his hammy and is out for the tournament, Hales should replace him in the squad. There, I said it.

Mark Wood has bowled half a yard fuller than everyone else. You need to do that in these conditions to bring lbw, bring the stumps, into play, just as we saw with that Hope dismissal.

It looked good as soon as it left the hand. Shai Hope was perhaps trying to hit it through mid-wicket, turned the bat face, and it slammed into that shin.

Hope lbw Wood 11 (WI 55-3)

Three reds! Banging into leg stump. An excellent review by England.

Sublime delivery from Mark Wood - 92mph, full, skiddy and nipping back in.

Shai Hope tries to work it to leg but plays around it, the ball thudding into his front pad.

Slightly surprised that wasn't given out on the field, it looked out. Anyway, England have a deserved third wicket.

No bat. Shai Hope could be in trouble here. It's not going over.

    Might be umpire's call.
