Back under way. Hardik Pandya returns.

Gulbadin has played nicely. He has scored 26 from 40 balls...

The players take a breather at drinks. Gulbadin Naib is being worked on my the physio. What will Kohli be saying in that huddle?

This game is right in the balance. We've got another thriller on our hands I reckon.

I don't know how that has missed the outside edge and the off stump as well!

There will be nerves out there for sure, and I am really excited to see how Virat Kohli goes about things. Are we going to see something a bit funkier? Or go stock-standard to get the breakthrough?

    Gulbadin 26, Rahmat 13

My word that is a sensational delivery from Kuldeep Yadav. His hands go up onto his head and MS Dhoni looks to the sky behind the stumps.

Gulbadin just grins after the ball somehow misses both the edge and the off stump.

Afghanistan need 164 runs to win from 204 deliveries. Simple?

MS Dhoni's glovework is always amazing.

Excellent glovework but Rahmat Shah's foot was always behind the line. On we go.

We're checking for a stumping. MS Dhoni did not look confident.

Sehwag was interesting when he was with us. He didn't mince his words - he said there's nothing wrong with the wicket. It's just about mindset.

  10. Afg 57-1published at 15 overs

    Target 225

India really struggled to hit big shots in their innings. Virat Kohli was the only member of the top order to score at a strike-rate of over 100.

Afghanistan looked more confident attacking, although this one is another tight over.

    The spinners are squeezing.

This looks completely different to the India innings, but you can take Virat Kohli out of that.

Rahmat Shah looks very organised here, and that will put Afghanistan's supporters at ease.

  12. Afg 56-1published at 14 overs

    Target 225

Kuldeep can't find the breakthrough. He doesn't allow many runs to come though. Just one from the over.

The win predictor has Afghanistan favourites at 55%.

Where are we ranking this if Afghanistan do pull it off? The biggest shock in World Cup history? Which others would beat it?

  13. Postpublished at 15:33 British Summer Time 22 June 2019

Kuldeep is on. Big moments in this game. India need a wicket.

  14. Afg 55-1published at 13 overs

Need 170 more runs to win

Ouch. Virat Kohli hurls the ball at the stumps and it hits Rahmat Shah in the back. That'll bruise.

Kohli apologises immediately and Rahmat is very accepting of the apology.

    It's all smiles still.

  16. Afg 54-1published at 12 overs

Need another 171 runs to win

Afghanistan are now bang on the required run-rate after those two boundaries. Hardik Pandya's two overs have cost 20. India can't afford many more like that after their below-par batting display.

Outstanding batting, outstanding cricket. They really are taking it to the Indians. A poor effort from Pandya, and I would not expect Kohli to be happy with him.

  18. Afg 53-1published at 11.4 overs

Back-to-back boundaries to Gulbadin Naib! This is a proper thump through mid-wicket. It has gone very quiet at the Hampshire Bowl.

    Could Afghanistan do this?

  19. Afg 49-1published at 11.3 overs

Gulbadin goes again. Pandya is leaking runs here. Four more to Afghanistan's total.

  20. Afg 42-1published at 11 overs

    Target 225

Four to Gulbadin! That relives a little bit of pressure. Despite the best efforts of Kuldeep on the boundary rope, he can't prevent the boundary.

It was a good shot from the Afghanistan captain.

    This is tense.
