  1. Afg 162-6published at 39.2 overs

    More overthrows.

Najibullah Zadran comes down the pitch from the non-strikers end and a wild throw flies off the pitch and to the right of the diving Mortaza backing up.

Absolutely no need for that throw.

This has been a thoroughly professional performance by Bangladesh. They weighed up how many runs they needed, didn't try and go too hard only to end up falling in heap.

And then they've squeezed Afghanistan with the ball.

  3. Afg 160-6published at 39 overs

The Fizz has now extended his lead at the top of the 'most boundaries conceded' league. Probably not the one he wants to be top of.

He recovers well with just two singles coming from the rest of the over.

  4. Afg 158-6published at 38.1 overs

Samiullah Shinwari is playing nicely here.

It's short and wide from Mustafizur and he carves it through point for his second boundary.

Where has he been in this tournament? You get the idea that Afghanistan have no idea what their best team - let alone batting order - is.

Here's how Ikram Ali Khil was run out at the non-strikers end.

    Get the dive out lad!

Why is Najibullah coming in so low?! He looks great. That was a wonderful shot.

  8. Afg 152-6published at 37.2 overs

    Shot!

Najibullah Zadran dances down the pitch and absolutely creams a cover drive to the fence.

If anyone understands why Najibullah is coming in at eight, please do let us know!

  9. Afg 147-6published at 37 overs

Six runs come from Mustafizur Rahman's latest over.

Bangladesh will want this done as soon as possible so they can boost their net run-rate which might yet be key if they're going to reach the semi-finals.

Najibullah Zadran scored 51 and 43 batting at seven against Australia and Sri Lanka and looked like one of Afghanistan's best batsmen.

Then he was dropped. And now he's batting at eight. What's going on?

  12. Afg 141-6published at 36 overs

    Hello!

Najibullah Zadran dances down the pitch, first ball, and chips Mehedi over mid-on and away to the fence.

Why he's coming in at eight I will never know. He's looked one of Afghanistan's more competent batsman in this tournament.

Could Shinwari have called for a review for the lbw shout against himself to prevent Ikram from getting run out?

Lazy cricket. He was just gazing at the appeal. Brilliant throw from Liton Das.

Khil run out (Das) 11 (Afg 132-6)

    Gone!

This is so so bad from Ikram Ali Khil.

He's half way down the deck as he looks to steal a leg bye while Bangladesh are appealing for lbw against Samiullah Shinwari. He's sent back and makes what looks like a real half-hearted effort to get back. There was no dive and his bat wasn't fully extended. Really really poor.

There's a huge appeal for lbw but a direct hit at the non-striker's end might be the end of Ikram Ali Khil.
