    Seven off the Fizz's over.

And he's now been hit for the most boundaries in the tournament as Ikram Ali Khil guides very fine to move to 11.

Afghanistan need 131 from 90 balls.

Mustafizur Rahman is going to replace Shakib Al Hasan so the spinner is going to have to wait for his chance to get a five-wicket haul.

The Fizz has been hit for 38 boundaries at this World Cup - currently level with South Africa's Kagiso Rabada at the top of that category.

Afghanistan needed to be more positive in the first 15-20 overs when the ball was harder. They've left themselves too much to do again. Their best chance to chase this was to be ahead of the rate, around 120 runs after 20 overs and no more than 3 wickets down.

  4. Afg 125-5published at 34 overs

A bit better from Afghanistan as they take six from Mortaza's seventh over.

The required run-rate is up to 8.62 though.

There is no reason Bangladesh can't go into the next match against India thinking anything can happen under the pressure of this stage of the competition.

Minhaj: Shakib is actually unplayable, best player in the tournament by a landslide.

  8. Afg 119-5published at 33 overs

Eighteen-year-old wicketkeeper Ikram Ali Khil is the new batsman and he gets off the mark second ball with a single into the on-side.

Shakib has figures of 4-10 from seven overs now.

Shakib is the ninth player to take four wickets and hit a 50 in the same match.

Only one man has taken five wickets and hit a 50 in the same game - India's Yuvraj Singh against Ireland in 2011.

Shakib is living up to his ranking as the number one all-rounder in the world. Absolutely brilliant.

Awful awful awful from Ashghar Afghan.

I don't even know how to describe that knock. He seemed to block 85 per cent of his deliveries and then the big shot was needed. The pressure built and he has to bring out the slog-sweep but it's straight down the throat of substitute fielder Sabbir Rahman at deep square leg.

This is starting to look miserable for Afghanistan.

Bangladesh will be pleased. In the first 10 overs it looked like Afghanistan were putting up a good fight but then Shakib came on and he's run through the order.

  13. Afg 117-4published at 32 overs

Captain Mashrafe Mortaza replaces Mohammad Saifuddin and concedes just four runs from his sixth over.

One of them comes after Shakib pings a throw at the non-strikers end - it cannons into the stumps - but flies away and Afghanistan jog through for an overthrow.

Really good again from Shakib with just two singles added to the total.

You can't help but feel like there's such muddled thinking in the way Afghanistan play. In the first few games they were playing shots galore, they are now blocking their way through games and letting the run-rate rise to a rate that's beyond them. They can't seem to combine the two.

Hashmatullah Shahidi is the only player at this tournament to be stumped twice.

  17. Afg 111-4published at 30 overs

Tidy again from Shaifuddin with just five coming off it. He's got figures of 0-15 off five overs now. Afghanistan just can't find the boundary.

The required run-rate is up to 7.6 now.

    Unbelievable talent.
