  1. wicket

WICKET Jones lbw b Rushworth 52published at 17:54 British Summer Time 30 June 2019

    Lancashire 228-5 v Durham

Rob Jones finally departs after his dogged 52 in three and a quarter hours at Sedbergh School.

He is trapped leg before wicket by Chris Rushworth to earn the Durham paceman his second wicket.

Captain Dane Vilas (55) is joined by former Lancs skipper Steven Croft.

Still 10 overs left tonight, weather permitting.

  2. wicket

WICKET Gregory c Weatherley b Abbott 25published at 17:49 British Summer Time 30 June 2019

    Somerset 401-6 v Hampshire

Lewis Gregory drives Kyle Abbott through the covers, then straight down the ground to take the Somerset total past 400, but then edges the next delivery to first slip.

George Bartlett is still there on 68 as he is joined by Dom Bess, who was certainly putting in the batting practice before the start of play this morning (see below).

  3. Somerset close on 400published at 17:47 British Summer Time 30 June 2019

    Somerset 392-5 v Hampshire

The boundaries are still flowing for Somerset despite Hampshire taking the new ball at Taunton.

Lewis Gregory goes aerial twice off Kyle Abbott before George Bartlett dabs Fidel Edwards down to rope at third man.

The leaders look like they are going to have all five batting points in the bag well before the close.

Lancashire's Dane Vilas becomes his side's second half-centurion at Sedbergh School.

He hit nine fours in 68 balls to get there - twice as quick as Rob Jones, who got there shortly before him.

  5. for Jordan Clarkpublished at 17:39 British Summer Time 30 June 2019

    Yorkshire 327 v Surrey

Jordan Clark takes five wickets in a Championship innings for the second time - but first time for Surrey - as Steven Patterson edges to near namesake Rikki Clarke at first slip.

His final figures are 5-77, but the Yorkshire skipper made 46, another invaluable innings for his side following his half-century against Warwickshire at York.

Three points each so far, but Yorkshire will feel they should have done better after Will Fraine's 106, which led them to 187-1 at one stage.

  6. Division Two round-uppublished at 17:39 British Summer Time 30 June 2019

Well bowled Ollie Robinson, who finishes with 6-63 as Sussex bowl out Northamptonshire for 273 at Hove.

Fynn Hudson-Prentice (83*) and Leus du Plooy (40*) have posted a century stand with Derbyshire now 324-2 against Middlesex.

Glamorgan are trying to stabilise their innings after the loss of quick wickets against Worcestershire. David Lloyd is still there on 73 in their 305-5.

Lancashire have secured their first batting point and are now 218-4 against Durham, with Rob Jones 52 not out and skipper Dane Vilas on 48.

  7. Hampshire look to new ballpublished at 17:35 British Summer Time 30 June 2019

    Somerset 377-5 v Hampshire

Lewis Gregory is a dangerous customer with the bat and after putting away another Mason Crane long hop, he clips James Fuller away through mid-wicket for another four.

That is 80 overs bowled by Hampshire, who presumably will go straight to the new ball.

  8. D'Oliveira leads Pears fightbackpublished at 17:33 British Summer Time 30 June 2019

    Glamorgan 301-5 v Worcestershire

    Nick Webb
    BBC Wales Sport

A remarkable turnaround at Sophia Gardens where leg-spinner Brett D’Oliveira has taken three quick wickets to put Worcestershire back in the game.

Marnus Labuschagne had reached a chanceless 106 when he chipped a return catch, having taken his season’s tally to 957 runs.

D’Oliveira’s next over saw Billy Root bowled through the gate without scoring while Dan Douthwaite was trapped lbw on the back foot.

David Lloyd has moved into the 70s as Glamorgan scrambled past 300 with five wickets down.

    Lancashire 214-4 v Durham

Rob Jones is first to his half-century for Lancashire - his fourth in first-class cricket this season.

And, as it's the first of the day, he becomes the first batman to hit a first-class half-century at Sedbergh School.

Dane Vilas, on 44, surely will not be far behind.

Half century for Daniel Bell-Drummondpublished at 17:28 British Summer Time 30 June 2019

    Kent 300-2 v Warwickshire

Kent batsman Daniel Bell-DrummondImage source, Getty Images

A third half-century of the season for Daniel Bell-Drummond.

It also brings Kent's third batting point in the process.

Debate amongst the Bears senior players Jeetan Patel and Tim Ambrose as to whether to take the new ball and have another dart with their makeshift pace attack tonight.

  11. 100 runs

Century stand at Canterburypublished at 17:23 British Summer Time 30 June 2019

    Kent 290-2 v Warwickshire

The second century stand of the day for Kent against depleted Warwickshire at Canterbury.

Sean Dickson earlier helped Zak Crawley put on 132 for the first wicket, their best opening stand at Canterbury since 2006.

He has now moved on to 122, well supported by Daniel Bell-Drummond, who is on 48.

The only plus point for the Bears is that there will be no overtime. The spinners are still on, there's only nine overs left in the day and play will finish bang on time for once at 18:00 BST.

Kent also need to speed up a little if they are to claim maximum batting points.

James Fuller again reaps the benefit of a 'fuller' length at Taunton as Somerset lose a second wicket with just a handful of overs to go before the new ball. Lewis Gregory is the new batsman, joining George Bartlett, who is 53 not out.

Not much we can add to that really.

  14. wicket

WICKET Cook c Moores b Broad 2published at 17:16 British Summer Time 30 June 2019

    Notts 213, Essex 10-1

Sir Alastair Cook does not have the happiest of records at Trent Bridge.

And the run goes on for him as the Essex opener is removed cheaply for 2, caught behind off his old England team-mate Stuart Broad.

50 partnership for Lancspublished at 17:16 British Summer Time 30 June 2019

    Lancashire 193-4 v Durham

Lancashire are now fast approaching a first batting bonus point, thanks to a second successive half-century partnership at Sedbergh School.

Rob Jones, who earlier shared one of 60 with Liam Livingstone, has now helped Dane Vilas add 54 so far.

  16. wicket

WICKET Banton lbw Fuller 79published at 17:13 British Summer Time 30 June 2019

    Somerset 353-4 v Hampshire

Just four overs before a new-ball is due and Hampshire make a breakthrough as James Fuller strikes Tom Banton on the rear pad and the right-hander is gone. His stand with George Bartlett added 116 in 21 overs.

  17. Kent pile up runs at Canterburypublished at 17:13 British Summer Time 30 June 2019

    Kent 277-2 (84 overs) v Warwickshire

Poor Warwickshire continue to suffer at Canterbury.

Sean Dickson (117) and Daniel Bell-Drummond (39) have so far put on 90 for the third wicket against the injury-hit Bears.

For once, after 44 wickets in seven matches previously this seaso, even Warwickshire skipper Jeetan Patel is powerless. 0-62 off 25 overs.

The new ball is due. No sign of it being taken though by the makeshift Bears pace attack.

  18. wicket

WICKET Coad c Patel b Morkel 25published at 17:13 British Summer Time 30 June 2019

    Yorkshire 300-9 v Surrey

Ben Coad slices a catch to gully, ending a stand of 45 in five overs with Steven Patterson.

But Patterson takes a single in the next over to take Yorkshire to their third batting point as he moves to 38 not out.

  19. wicket

    WICKET Labuschagne c and b D'Oliveira 106published at 17:10 British Summer Time 30 June 2019

    Glamorgan 293-3 v Worcestershire

Marnus Labuschagne swishes his bat in frustration after his innings comes to an end at Sophia Gardens.

He checks a drive off Brett D'Oliveira, bowling from round the wicket, and offers a comfortable return catch to the bowler as he moves to his left.

The Australian faced 139 balls and hit a six and 13 fours - but he'll have to wait until the second innings (assuming they have a second innings) to try and complete 1,000 runs for the season.

  20. Somesert pile on Crane's agonypublished at 17:09 British Summer Time 30 June 2019

    Somerset 352-3 v Hampshire

George Bartlett collects a single off Keith Barker to bring up a 100 partnership with Tom Banton at Taunton.

Mason Crane's travails continue as Bartlett puts away another 'half-tracker' at the start of the latest over and two boundaries from Tom Banton follow as Somerset breeze past 350.

It's not too long ago that Crane was in and around the England squad, but his confidence appears to be very low at the moment. His 10 overs so far have cost 69 runs.
