  1. Seven for D'Oliveirapublished at 12:47 British Summer Time 1 July 2019

    Glamorgan 449 v Worcestershire

Well bowled Brett D'Oliveira, who finishes with career-best figures of 7-92 in Cardiff as Glamorgan number 11 Michael Hogan, on 19, drives a catch to mid-off. Hogan added 36 for the last wicket with Timm van der Gugten, who hit two sixes in an unbeaten 22.

  2. At least Ashwin should improve Notts over ratepublished at 12:46 British Summer Time 1 July 2019

    Notts 213, Essex 146-2

    Michael Perkins
    BBC Sport at Trent Bridge

Ravi Ashwin has operated solidly throughout this session from the Radcliffe Road End - and he is bowling quickly . . . well at least, that is, in terms of the speed with which he gets through his six deliveries.

The quickest I have timed him at for his six balls was 1 minute 40 seconds. But that did include a four, so I'm pretty sure one of his four maidens has been quicker than that.

More crucially, the Indian Test spinner has only picked up the one wicket, of Tom Westley. But, an hour and and half into day two, he is yet to be replaced.

  3. Patel makes promising startpublished at 12:43 British Summer Time 1 July 2019

    Yorkshire 327 v Surrey 138-2

Ryan Patel moves into double figures at Scarborough with a cover drive followed by a square cut off David Willey. Both strokes bring him four runs and he is now 15 not out, with Mark Stoneman on 65.

  5. Division Two round-uppublished at 12:34 British Summer Time 1 July 2019

Leaders Glamorgan are still clinging on against Worcestershire and are now 437-9 in their first innings. Brett D'Oliveira has 6-88 so far for the visitors.

Sussex's problems continue at Hove, with skipper Ben Brown the latest to go. They are 65-6 after 30 overs against Northamptonshire.

Derbyshire are clearly intent on batting only once in their game against Middlesex. They are 461-4 and centurion Leus du Plooy has added 112 with Anuj Dal.

  6. wicket

WICKET Onions c Eckersley b Rimmington 0published at 12:33 British Summer Time 1 July 2019

    Lancashire 313-9 (110.1 overs) v Durham

How ironic. Just a ball after the 110-over cut-off, Graham Onions departs against his former club.

He is leg before wicket to Nathan Rimmington, for a third-ball duck - to become the Durham man's third victim of the innings.

That brings England's Jimmy Anderson to the middle. And, like Onions, he is probably already looking forward more to bowling on this track in these conditions than batting on it.

  7. No more points for Durhampublished at 12:32 British Summer Time 1 July 2019

    Lancashire 313-8 (110 overs) v Durham

No more bowling points for Durham at Sedbergh School.

  8. Hants pair build standpublished at 12:27 British Summer Time 1 July 2019

    Somerset 408 v Hampshire 79-2

Ajinkya Rahane and Sam Northeast have laid the foundations for a sizeable partnership for Hampshire against the Division One leaders.

They have added 42 since the dismissal of Joe Weatherley, with Rahane 30 not out and Northeast on 27.

England spinner Jack Leach is now into his sixth over. He's tying the batsmen down, but hasn't taken a wicket as of yet.

  9. wicket

WICKET Mahmood lbw b Rimmington 2published at 12:25 British Summer Time 1 July 2019

    Lancashire 305-8 v Durham

An eight wicket for Durham in the 109th over as Saqib Mahmood is LBW, a second wicket for Nathan Rimmington.

Eight balls to get one more wicket for an extra Durham bowling point. And Durham 'old boy' Graham Onions coming to the wicket in an attempt to try and defy them it.

You wonder if he and Jimmy Anderson are looking forward to bowling on this?

  10. 100 runs

for Leus du Plooypublished at 12:20 British Summer Time 1 July 2019

    Derbyshire 448-4 v Middlesex

A second successive Derbyshire century for Leus du Plooy, who follows his 115 in last week's 50-over game against Australia A, by reaching three figures from 208 balls with a single to mid-off.

It is his first in the Championship since joining the club - and the 10th overall in first-class cricket for the South African left-hander.

Thank goodness he avoided the fate of team-mate Fynn Hudson-Prentice, who suffered the heartbreak of being out for 99 on day one.

  11. wicket

WICKET Kuhn c sub b Wainman 17published at 12:14 British Summer Time 1 July 2019

    Kent 427-4 v Warwickshire

James Wainman is clearly getting the hang of this.

After a fruitless first day in first-class cricket on Sunday, the Bears debutant has now struck twice inside the same five-over spell this morning.

Having removed centurion Sean Dickson, he has now also got rid of Kent captain Heino Kuhn for 17.

The new man is Ollie Robinson. The Kent one that is. We could have a moment soon when English cricket's two Ollie Robinsons are batting simultaneously. The Sussex one is due in shortly. Very shortly maybe, given the speed with which Sussex wickets are falling.

  12. Another batting point for the Red Rosepublished at 12:13 British Summer Time 1 July 2019

    Lancashire 303-7 v Durham

Lancashire reach 300 at Sedbergh School in the 106th over to claim a third batting bonus point.

Under grey skies and a lot of cloud cover, four more overs for Durham's attack to cash in on the overhead conditions and claim the two wickets they need for a third bowling point.

  13. wicket

    WICKET Borthwick c Kohler-Cadmore b Willey 24published at 12:11 British Summer Time 1 July 2019

    Yorkshire 327 v Surrey 110-2

    David WilleyImage source, Rex Features

There's a lovely shape on the ball from David Willey as Scott Borthwick is caught at first slip.

It was a fairly tentative shot by the left-hander and he thumps the back of his bat in annoyance as he heads for the dressing room.

Mark Stoneman is 52 not out as he is joined by Ryan Patel.

  14. Cullen fifty boosts Glamorganpublished at 12:07 British Summer Time 1 July 2019

    Glamorgan 410-8 v Worcestershire

    Nick Webb
    BBC Wales Sport

Glamorgan squeezed to maximum batting points off the final ball of the 110th over thanks to a cameo knock of 23 from number nine Lukas Carey.

Needing a single with the field in, he hit Ed Barnard to square leg for four, only to be bowled by the next ball he faced from Brett D’Oliveira.

It was a fifth wicket for the leg-spinner, who only claimed four in the Championship last season.

At the other end, wicketkeeper Tom Cullen reached his fourth 50 in seven matches as a useful deputy for injured captain Chris Cooke, who is due to play for the seconds tomorrow.

  15. 50 runs

for Mark Stonemanpublished at 12:03 British Summer Time 1 July 2019

    Yorkshire 327 v Surrey 100-1

It's over a year now since Mark Stoneman last played Test cricket, but a burst of scoring over the next three games and he could yet force his way into England's plans for the Ashes series.

A push brings him three runs off Steven Patterson and carries him to a 92-ball half-century at Scarborough, his fourth in the Championship this season - but he has yet to convert one into a hundred.

Incidentally, Mark was 32 last week - so belated happy birthday to him.

  16. Division Two round-uppublished at 12:01 British Summer Time 1 July 2019

Worcestershire's Brett D'Oliveira has taken five wickets in an innings for the second time in his career after bowling Lukas Carey, but Glamorgan are 404-8 at Cardiff - with maximum batting points in the bag.

Derbyshire also have all five and are now 419-4 against Middlesex, with Leus du Plooy on 85 not out.

Delray Rawlins has become the first Sussex batsman to reach double figures against Northants at Hove, but the home side are 49-5 after 22 overs.

  17. wicket

WICKET Vilas c Rimmington b Rushworth 72published at 11:57 British Summer Time 1 July 2019

    Lancashire 293-7 v Durham

A second wicket inside seven balls for Durham.

After Steven Croft's dismissal to the last ball of Brydon Carse's over, so Dane Vilas follows to the final ball of Chris Rushworth's next over, for 72, caught driving airily to Nathan Rimmington at mid-off.

  18. Leach starts first spellpublished at 11:55 British Summer Time 1 July 2019

    Somerset 408 v Hampshire 52-2

After the opening burst from Lewis Gregory and Jamie Overton, Somerset have now turned to spin with England's Jack Leach into the attack.

His first over is tidy enough, costing just a single each to Ajinkya Rahane and Sam Northeast.

  19. 100 runs

Century for Daniel Bell-Drummondpublished at 11:53 British Summer Time 1 July 2019

    Kent 407-3 v Warwickshire

    Danlel Bell-DrummondImage source, Rex Features

Daniel Bell-Drummond becomes Kent's second centurion of the innings.

It's his first Championship century since 2016.

He and captain Heino Kuhn have also taken the score past 400 to ensure maximum batting points.

The Bears have at least got themselves a bowling point with that earlier dismissal of Sean Dickson for 161.

  20. Sussex on the ropespublished at 11:48 British Summer Time 1 July 2019

    Northamptonshire 273 v Sussex 33-5

What is going on at Hove?

Laurie Evans is the latest Sussex batsman to go, caught at slip by Alex Wakely off Ben Sanderson, who is now in his 10th over with figures of 3-13.

No-one has yet reached double figures for the home side.
