  1. Declaration by Hampshirepublished at 17:56 British Summer Time 8 July 2019

    404 to win for Warwickshire

Keith Barker tries to scoop Henry Brookes over fine leg but gets too much elevation and wicketkeeper Tim Ambrose takes the catch.

That mates it 171-8 with captain Sam Northeast 36 not out, and he decides enough is enough with his side 403 ahead.

Hampshire have 11 overs to bowl tonight and the whole of day four to complete a win.

    WICKET: Kohler-Cadmore lbw b Harmer 8published at 17:52 British Summer Time 8 July 2019

    Yorkshire 208 & 31-3 v Essex 328

Simon Harmer, as has come to be expected, gets a wicket in his first spell. Tom Kohler-Cadmore survived a few lbw appeals but this was plumb.

Off he trots. Essex flying, Yorkshire drowning.

  3. NOTTS 241 ALL OUTpublished at 17:45 British Summer Time 8 July 2019

    Notts 241 v Somerset 326

Dom Bess finishes with a 5-for!

The England spinner has Luke Fletcher caught for 3 and ends with figures of 5-59 to help secure a 85-run lead on first innings for Somerset.

Notts' final seven wickets fell for just 40 runs and the final six for just 24! That, is, a, collapse.

Seven overs for the Somerset batsmen to see out.

  4. 100 runs

for Cameron Bancroftpublished at 17:45 British Summer Time 8 July 2019

    Durham 117 & 179-0 v Leicestershire 212

    Cameron BancroftImage source, Rex Features

A third Championship century of the season for the Durham captain as his side find their batting touch after being skittled first time around.

The Australian brings up three figures from 134 balls with his 13th four.

Alex Lees is 65 not out.

  5. Battling Yorkshirepublished at 17:43 British Summer Time 8 July 2019

    Yorkshire 208 & 28-2 v Essex 328

Eight overs to go at Chelmsford and Adam Lyth and Tom Kohler-Cadmore will be hoping to see those out for Yorkshire. This has been a very un-Lyth-like innings.

He's five from 36 balls in almost an hour. For an opening batsman renowned for his attacking strokes, this is very different.

Simon Harmer on for Essex. That usually means wickets - the spinner took five in the first innings.

    Notts 238-8 v Somerset 326

Dom Bess and Somerset celebrateImage source, Getty Images

Spectacular collapse almost complete. Fourth wicket for Dom Bess as Luke Wood tries to slap into the offside but spoons straight to Jack Leach at point.

Somerset still lead by 88 runs. Notts probably only have one wicket left in hand because of Chris Nash being forced to retire hurt.

WICKET: Bell-Drummond lbw Clark 64published at 17:36 British Summer Time 8 July 2019

    Kent 209-3 v Surrey 271

Daniel Bell-Drummond is on his way back to the dressing room after being trapped lbw by Jordan Clark.

There wasn't much doubt as Clark got one to straighten and strike Bell-Drummond halfway up his front pad.

The partnership with Joe Denly was worth 110.

  8. wicket

WICKET: McManus c Yates b Brookes 20published at 17:32 British Summer Time 8 July 2019

    Hampshire 539 & 158-7 v Warwickshire 307

Lewis McManus makes 20 from just 10 balls but is out to another big shot as he tries to pull Henry Brookes into the crowd at long leg.

He doesn't get hold of it and Rob Yates takes the catch in the deep.

  9. wicket

WICKET: Ashwin b Bess 23published at 17:27 British Summer Time 8 July 2019

    Notts 236-7 v Somerset 326

Ravi Ashwin gone trying to reverse sweep! He basically misses what would have been a half-volley. Totally unnecessary.

It's another wicket for a Somerset spinner as Dom Bess bowls him for 23. He moves onto three for the innings along with his spin twin Jack Leach.

Tying the batsmen up in Notts they are.

  10. wicket

WICKET: Berg st Ambrose b Patel 5published at 17:23 British Summer Time 8 July 2019

    Hampshire 539 & 133-6 v 307

Gareth Berg becomes the latest Hampshire batsman to depart in the hunt for quick runs as he shimmies down the pitch attempting to plant a ball from Jeetan Patel back over the bowler's head.

Berg misses and Tim Ambrose completes the stumping.

    Hampshire lead by 372.

  11. 200 up for Kentpublished at 17:20 British Summer Time 8 July 2019

    Kent 202-2 v Surrey 271

That's the 100 partnership for Joe Denly and Daniel Bell-Drummond, too.

The 200 comes up with a scope through midwicket by Bell-Drummond off Jordan Clark three balls after Denly's nudge to point for a single brings up three figures for the third wicket.

  12. wicket

    Yorkshire 208 & 14-2 v Essex 328

Peter Siddle runs to celebrate with Essex keeper Adam Wheater after a spectacular catchImage source, Rex Features

Gary Ballance is back in the pavilion for just four and what a catch it is. Adam Wheater takes it one-handed, diving behind the stumps to give Peter Siddle his second wicket.

Serious work to do for Yorkshire with around an hour of play still to go. They're 106 runs behind Essex still!

    Notts 226-6 v Somerset 326

Somerset celebrate Jack Leach wicketImage source, Getty Images

Another for Jack Leach! This is a collapse.

It's the same dismissal as his last, this time Liam Patterson-White falls foul. Notts have lost four wickets for 25 runs.

  14. wicket

WICKET: Moores c Banton b Leach 1published at 17:08 British Summer Time 8 July 2019

    Notts 222-5 v Somerset 326

Somerset's spinners are making real headway now as Notts keeper Tom Moores is caught at short leg off the bowling of Jack Leach.

That's two a piece for Leach and Bess.

This could be six down remember as Chris Nash retired hurt.

  15. wicket

WICKET: Donald c Ambrose b Patel 52published at 17:08 British Summer Time 8 July 2019

    Hampshire 539 & 123-5 v Warwickshire 307

An innings of fireworks comes to an end as Aneurin Donald perishes to his latest big shot.

The Welshman eyes up the stands at deep midwicket as he takes a huge swing at Jeetan Patel but skies the ball, meaning wicketkeeper Tim Ambrose only has to take a few steps to take a steepling catch.

That innings has given Hampshire the initiative back.

  16. 50 runs

for Aneurin Donaldpublished at 17:05 British Summer Time 8 July 2019

    Hampshire 539 & 118-4 v Warwickshire 307

Donald is going for everything now and he flays Olly Stone through extra cover with one hand off the bat for another four that brings up his half-century off just 41 deliveries.

After that flurry of wickets before tea, Hampshire are now firmly back in charge and just, presumably, debating when to declare.

  17. wicket

WICKET: Fraine b Siddle 3published at 17:04 British Summer Time 8 July 2019

    Yorkshire 208 & 10-1 v Essex 328

I have to say, a thoroughly deserved wicket for Essex and Peter Siddle in particular. This has been brilliant stuff from the opening duo, but Jamie Porter's effort has been shaded by his wily Aussie colleague.

Siddle gets one straight through the defences of Will Fraine to clean bowl him. It jagged back a little, but not a great deal if I'm being honest.

  18. 100 up for Hampshirepublished at 17:02 British Summer Time 8 July 2019

    Hampshire 539 & 109-4 v Warwickshire 307

Aneurin Donald is fun to watch and he brings up the Hampshire 100 by hooking Olly Stone to the fence for four.

In the next over he slog-sweeps Jeetan Patel into the stands for six to bring up the 50 partnership with Sam Northeast (16 not out).

  19. wicket

WICKET: Mullaney c Abell b Bess 24published at 17:01 British Summer Time 8 July 2019

    Notts 217-4 v Somerset 326

It's not a huge leap to say Steven Mullaney was Nottinghamshire's final "proper" batsman, if Chris Nash is unable to resume his innings. He's chipped spinner Dom Bess to midwicket so now wicketkeeper Tom Moores joins Ravi Ashwin out in the middle, who although able with the bat is very much a bowling all-rounder. This is a crucial spell now.

  20. Yorkshire under pressurepublished at 16:58 British Summer Time 8 July 2019

    Yorkshire 208 & 8-0 v Essex 328

Tricky start for Yorkshire openers Will Fraine and Adam Lyth. They're really being put under pressure by Jamie Porter and Peter Siddle.

There's pretty much been just one loose delivery, which Fraine flicked away to the long-leg boundary off Siddle - well he tried to, it went down as leg byes.

Everything else has been tight as, well, just really tight.
