  1. NZ 115-2published at 37.2 overs

This has not been a good start to the spell from Sam Curran. He gets too full again and Taylor smashes him through the covers for four.

Jofra Archer would be a natural at anything he tried. There's a few like that in this England team, Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes are the same.

  3. NZ 111-2published at 37.1 overs

Not sure about this fielding from Archer. Be careful! He charges after a drive from Latham and puts his big boot on top of the ball to flick it back. That made me flinch. He could roll an ankle Glenn McGrath-style doing that.

Sam Curran is back for another spell, replacing Chris Woakes. Ben Stokes anyone?

Kumar Dharmasena is having another chat with Joe Root at the end of the over. Is this still over that Taylor review? Probably.

Four more. Too wide. Bowl at the stumps!

Shot. Taylor is looking comfortable against Archer so far.

The England bowler goes too wide at 83mph and is cut for four.

Matt_Smith_Hux: What a total miscarriage of justice! Snicko was very clear that any noise was well after the ball has passed the bat. Certainly not enough to overturn the decision. Taylor would have reviewed INSTANTLY if he'd have nicked it.

  10. NZ 100-2published at 36.2 overs

The New Zealand 100 is up courtesy of a nice drive from Taylor and a fumble from Sam Curran.

Both umpires are now talking to Joe Root - it must be about that decision but maybe about Stuart Broad's reaction. But I think that's fair enough - he'll feel robbed there.

Right. Here's Jofra. This is what England need him for. When it's looking flat, England need him to liven things up with a fast spell.

    Can he deliver?

    Latham 59, Taylor 25

Broad is standing with his hands on his hips at mid-on. He's not the cheeriest of fast bowlers at the best of times. That won't help.

At the other end, Latham still looks in fine form. He drives Woakes beautifully for four.

  14. 'It was out'published at 01:16 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2019

It's a poor decision. It was out, it was cannoning into leg stump. Stuart Broad is still talking to umpire Dharmasena.

Simon Mann is shaking his head. You know when Simon is shaking his head at a technology decision they've got it wrong.

I think Stuart Broad has been burgled there.

  16. NZ 94-2published at 35 overs

That one is going to be debated. There was a spike but it didn't seem to be in the right place. The ball was already past the bat. I don't think there was enough there to overturn the 'out' decision.

I'm not sure about that. People are going to have to debate it. The spike is sometime after the ball has passed the bat. Stuart Broad is shaking his head.

There was a mark but I thought that was the ball passing the bat.

  18. Not outpublished at 01:13 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2019

Stuart Broad gives a disgruntled shake of the head. He isn't impressed.

Taylor didn't review instantly. I don't think he thought he had hit it.

There was a spike but I'm not sure you can be certain it was ball hitting bat.

Oh. There's a little spike on RTS but it's slightly late. There's nothing on Hot Spot.
