The forecast suggests we could get overcast days on day two and three too. England's seamers could get chance to use similar conditions to what West Indies will have this morning.

Ben: Regardless of the reasons for the outs, that is a strong bowling line up. Without the searing pace perhaps but more than capable of taking 20 wickets. Encouraging depth in the bowling.

It looks a belting batting wicket.

More from England captain Root: "We would have bowled first. It does look a fantastic wicket. I'm not disappointed that we're batting - now we get an opportunity to put some big runs on the board early.
"First-innings runs is something we want to improve on. We want to get that scoreboard pressure early and drive the game from there.
"It looks a very good wicket. It probably does feel a little bit softer than usual but (I am) very much looking forward to getting out there.
"It's been a long time. I've had a lot of time to think about Test cricket and performing. The guys will be a lot better off from last week."
Jon's optimistic. I was thinking more 190.

Looking forward to a swashbuckling effort from Woakes, Curran and Bess to push us to a par score of 317.
Jon, Manchester
It may prove to be a good wicket but this first hour could be carnage if West Indies bowl well.
It's overcast. It must still be damp and West Indies showed last week how good their bowlers can be.

It's a dry wicket, it does turn later on and the cracks can open. West Indies have played the safe card. Their strength is in their bowling and it's a legitimate thing to do. I think Joe Root is secretly quite happy he's batting.
England: Rory Burns, Dom Sibley, Zak Crawley, Joe Root (cap), Ben Stokes, Ollie Pope, Jos Buttler (wk), Sam Curran, Chris Woakes, Dom Bess, Stuart Broad.
West Indies: Kraigg Brathwaite, John Campbell, Shai Hope, Shamarh Brooks, Roston Chase, Jermaine Blackwood, Shane Dowrich (wk), Jason Holder (capt), Alzarri Joseph, Kemar Roach, Shannon Gabriel.
Umpires: Michael Gough, Richard Illingworth; TV umpire: Richard Kettleborough.
Root tells Test Match Special he probably would have bowled first but "is not disappointed" to be batting.
England captain Joe Root on Jofra Archer: "Enough has been said on it. We have to look at the next five days and put in a really good performance."
Did England consider bringing back Mark Wood or James Anderson?: "No, with both of those, having come back from two very serious injuries, it felt very high risk to play them in this game. This is a must-win game for us.
"We're blessed with some fantastic bowlers waiting in the wings. We've got an attack that can take 20 wickets here this week."
West Indies captain Jason Holder: "We want to make good use of the overhead conditions this morning. Whatever there is under the surface we'll want to extract it in the first session. The pitch looks a bit drier than last week but we've gone with the same team.
"The bowlers have pulled up quite well. It's part of the game and we expect similar things from them in this game.
"We've got to start fresh in this game. It's a new test, new venue and we've got to understand that Test has gone and learn from the mistakes of that game and try to put them right in this one."
What that victory has done: "It's brought a smile to a lot of faces in the Caribbean. I was on a show a couple of nights ago, it was a great reception that the three Prime Ministers gave me and I shared the love around the boys."
Root says it looks a "very good wicket" but feels a "little softer than usual". He loves it here. Root's highest Test score came on this ground.
England would love another double hundred in this crucial match.
If England lose then the series is gone.
Root confirms Stuart Broad, Chris Woakes, Sam Curran and Dom Bess play.
There's no interviewer in the middle for the toss due to these coronavirus protocols.
It's now Joe Root's turn to talk down the camera lens.
He's grinning away. It's good to have the skipper back.
West Indies have named an unchanged team.
Joe Root spins the toss and Jason Holder calls correctly.
He makes his way over to the camera and tells us his side are going to bowl first.
Could be a fun first hour.
Joe Root has his hands on the pitch trying to get an idea of how it'll play.
Bat or bowl? The overheads say bowl but what about the surface?
Here comes the toss...
