It's been a tough but enthralling day. It's been proper Test cricket with the ball beating bat early in the day, Broad with the bat fighting back and now the West Indies against it four down.

Michael Gough will be disappointed with that I think because it was leg-stump ish.

    Good review by Jermaine Blackwood.

It pitched on line but was missing leg stump.

    Jonathan Agnew
BBC cricket correspondent on Test Match Special

It's always a great regret that Fred Trueman never actually sat where we are today and watched James Anderson bowling because I think he'd be full of admiration for him. He'd purr at the sight of Anderson running in and bowling in a similar style.

    Carlos Brathwaite
West Indies all-rounder on BBC Test Match Special

It's a good delivery but a much to do about nothing to be honest. It's nothing spectacular and Shamarh Brooks will be disappointed. There's been no impetus to the innings and it could get ugly.

Straight away after tea England breakthrough. It feels like a big wicket because he played so well in the second innings of the second Test.

  20. wicket

    Brooks c Buttler b Anderson 4 (WI 59-4)

    A record-breaking wicket!

James Anderson nips one back at Shamarh Brooks, who just feathers an inside edge behind to Jos Buttler.

No review. Brooks knew he'd nicked it.

And with that Anderson passes Fred Trueman for the England bowler with the most Test wickets against West Indies, on 87.
