Plenty happening in that over.
Shai Hope absolutely mullers a straight drive but it cannons off Chris Woakes boot and just evades the stumps at the non-striker's end. Shamarh Brooks was miles out of his ground and making absolutely no attempt to get back.
Brooks then delays on a single and a direct hit could have been interesting.
Not much of a rest for Chris Woakes as he replaces Jofra Archer at the Brian Statham End.

Can't believe Andy didn't pick this up but when all four England bowlers had completed five overs their economy rates were exactly the same.

A maiden to start his second spell from James Anderson.
He's struggled to find a consistent line so far today.
Chris Woakes is off after a tidy but largely unthreatening spell.
James Anderson is back on. This time from his own end, though.
There's only about 15 minutes till tea now. Can Anderson get a wicket that puts England truly on top?

Shai Hope again looks high quality. He just hasn't got the Test runs to really reflect that.
Oh, Shai - put that drive away.
Buoyed by those two beautiful straight drives, the right-hander is looking to bring out his cover drive. He misses the first time and slices the second one to Ollie Pope at backward point.
Not sure this is the situation to bringing that out.
Looks up *how do you respond to a solid crunching forward defence*...
Result = this.
Fantastic from Jofra Archer.
Hope 13, Brooks 1
Lovely from Shai Hope!
You can always tell when a batsman is in decent nick when they drive down the ground. Hope doesn't try to hit it too hard, he almost just leans on it and it's timed beautifully and races away to the fence.

Archer's energy and effort is almost aways the same with each delivery but because he's so rhythmical, when it really clicks, it's 90mph. But when it doesn't quite, it's still 85mph.
It's fantastic to have Jofra Archer back playing cricket and just doing what he does best isn't it?
The last seven-10 days must have been really difficult for him but he's been superb so far. At times in his England career he's been a bit little loose while being extremely threatening but he's offered West Indies very little so far.
Shai Hope's confidence is on the rise, though, as he pushes one down the ground for a couple more.

It's time for Dom Bess to finally deliver with the skill set he is actually in the team for.
Alex, London
Wow! That is a beautiful delivery first up to Shamarh Brooks by Chris Woakes.
The right hander gets turned inside out and a little bit of movement takes it past the edge.
Like Shane Dowrich yesterday, Jos Buttler struggles with the wobble of the ball after it's gone past the batsman and spills it.
Suddenly the ball is moving again.

John Campbell couldn't control his defensive jam of the bat and it's been caught well in the gully by Rory Burns. Campbell was definitely unsettled there.
Campbell c Burns b Archer 32 (WI 44-2)
Excellent from Jofra!
John Campbell had just played an emphatic, solid forward defence and Sir Andrew Strauss on the TV coverage goes "that deserves a short ball in return".
Like many times in his England career he's spot on as Archer digs in at Campbell's rib cage and the left-hander gets in a tangle and an edge, off the top of the splice, loops to Rory Burns at gully for a comfortable catch.
England needed that.

It might be time for a bit of spin I think. Archer and Bess could be a nice combination.
Chris Woakes has found a much more consistent line and length now but Shai Hope is looking comfortable, bringing out a few lovely on drives that all hit mid-on.
England are struggling to create chances since that initial wicket and Ben Stokes drop. This half-chance is the closest they've come in the last half-an-hour or so.

We've not seen a lot of movement from the ball in the last five to six overs.
I thought England would go on a real roll after that breakthrough in the second wicket but John Campbell and Shai Hope have done a really good job of blunting the hosts.
Hope brings up his first boundary with a steer through the slip cordon.
