Stop it, Adil!
He's hooked Pat Cummins for six!
Now Rashid carves to point for four. That's the 50 partnership. Not only that, but England will have the momentum going into the second innings.

Duke and Kookaburra: Tom Curran is doing his level best to swing England up to a target worthy of the name; Australia will knock off these runs and in fairness Morgan did want tough work on slower decks...
Adil Rashid walks over to play a flick to the leg side, but is followed and still manages a late cut. The man has rubber wrists. Two overs to go. This partnership has given England something to bowl at.

This partnership has been pretty useful. They've got England up to a respectable total. There's a chance the pitch may deteriorate further as the day goes on - England will be hoping it does and there's more spin, invariable bounce and seam movement for the quicks.
Jofra Archer is still wearing his England hoodie and has a mouth full of something. He doesn't necessarily look like a man who is in next.
Four more! Tom Curran jams Starc to the third man boundary.

From overs 26-40 inclusive, England scored just 42 runs, the joint fewest they have scored in that period since March 2009.
Overthrow! Direct hit bounces away to allow England to pinch another. This pair came together with the score on 149. So valuable.
More than just support this time. Rashid goes downtown to take Cummins for four over mid-on.
Don't underestimate the job Adil Rashid is doing here, either. Valuable support.

It's been pretty attritional. England have just been squeezed; Australia have bowled good areas.
Tom Curran is the sort of man you'd want in the trenches with you. He never backs down from the scrap. A couple of swings at Starc get nothing, before a single is added through the covers. 200 doesn't seem so fanciful now.

What I like about it is that he's holding his shape, he's not trying to slog. If the ball is in the right place he's giving it a smack which is what England need.
Curran again! This time off Mitchell Starc. Down the ground. Couple of bounces. Four.
Jonathan Agnew
BBC cricket correspondent on Test Match Special
The worry for England is the damage that could be caused in the first 10 overs of Australia's reply with the quick bowlers bowling and two new balls. If they can hit some boundaries and blow a bit of a hole in this target it could be dangerous.
Cummins asks for lbw against Rashid, but that's too high. Cummins can bowl through from one end for the rest of the innings, if Aaron Finch desires. The rest will probably come from the Mitchells, Starc and Marsh.

I've been impressed with Tom Curran. He's looked solid in defence and timed the ball well. He's looking like he's heating up in this last period of the innings.
Tom Curran! Full swing of the bat to bosh the returning Pat Cummins back over his head for four. Take that!

I've been impressed with Adam Zampa. The control shown, for a young leg-spinner, was excellent. He can only get better.
