Missed opportunity for England! And Ben Stokes shows he is human. Anderson finds the outside edge of Abid Ali's bat, the ball is travelling to Joe Root at first slip but Stokes dives in front and spills it. Should have been taken.

The first boundary for Pakistan and it's slightly streaky.

Abid Ali slashes at James Anderson, the ball goes aerial and through the gully region for four. Not convincing but they all count.

On that note, Root is back on the field with a bit of tape on his thumb. He looks fine.

I stand corrected, it's Abid Ali on strike after Shan Masood was dismissed on final ball of Broad's over.

And Abid clips Anderson to mid-wicket for two runs from the over.
