This clip shows how Zak Crawley's height and ability to get his head over the ball has helped him deal with Pakistan leg-spinner Yasir Shah. The first two deliveries show Joe Root getting trapped in his crease, the next two show the demise of Ollie Pope, before Crawley shows them how it's done.
Buttler 114, Crawley 192
A firm drive from Zak Crawley is kept to just one by a tumbling fielder at long-on, and Jos Buttler is more than happy to play straight to the rest of the over.
Time for a bit of spin - here's Yasir Shah.

I think Naseem is coming off a bit of a shorter run-up, which is interesting.
Yells of appreciation from the England balcony as Zak Crawley plonks his front foot forward and sends the most sumptuous of cover drives away to the boundary rope. That'll bring the 250 partnership up, too.

We're seeing a lot of patience and concentration from Zak Crawley today. He is an opening batsman by trade.
Naseem Shah gets us going after lunch, and Zak Crawley solidly blocks his first ball.

Mohammad Abbas has bowled beautifully without any wickets whereas Shaheen Afridi has been quite wayward.

Happy, happy days.

Buttler and Zak Crawley have shared a 246-run partnership, which is England's highest fifth-wicket partnership against Pakistan in Tests.

Jos should look at Matt Prior. When he first started, he particularly struggled to his right when keeping. He got dropped, put in hours of practice and came back a much better keeper, and it didn't affect his batting.
Yes, Jos Buttler has reached his second Test century, becoming England's highest run-scorer of the summer so far in the process.
There was one slight moment of alarm for Buttler, mind...

So great to see Buttler scoring freely. Do we think he could give up the gloves and play solely as a batsman?

Cheers, Kal.
I'm sort of hopeful we might get through the rest of the day unscathed.
