Curtis Campher, who has undoubtedly been Ireland's best player in the series so far, is into the attack.

He's got Tom Banton out in the first two games.

Gosh! Eoin Morgan has got hold of that beautifully. That shot was a joy to watch.

They might get Eoin Morgan out with the short ball but it's probably going to cost them a few runs in the process as the England skipper sends one over the square-leg fence. That's easy for him.

Earlier in the over Tom Banton got in a bit of tangle to a banged in delivery and just about skewed it over mid-on.

Ireland are persisting with this short-ball attack against Eoin Morgan. They must think there is a weakness there.

David Beckett: It's not just Dawid Malan; if Joe Root, Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler, and Ollie Pope were available, James Vince probably would have been dropped by now.

  6. Eng 68-3published at 11 overs

Beautiful again from Eoin Morgan as he picks up his seventh boundary with a lovely straight drive.

From my limited experience of watching Tom Banton he looks a bit boundary or nothing, at the moment. That's something he's going to have to work on in international cricket to succeed.

He plays a loose drive before pulling for another four through mid-wicket.

Vince averages says it all about where his international career is going. Test 24, ODI 23, T20 28. That's a really "average" average.

Tom Banton got in a good position again and timed it well through the off side.

  9. Eng 59-3published at 10 overs

I feel like we've said this is a good opportunity for multiple England players today but this really is for Tom Banton. I don't think we'll see the very best of him until he's up at the top of the order, but today with the early wickets, he practically is.

He plays two beautiful back-foot punches through the covers for his first boundaries.

    That is Ireland's powerplay, though.

I'm with Matt on this one. With the likes of Dawid Malan, Liam Livingstone, Phil Salt and Sam Hain among others waiting in the wings, perhaps it's time for someone else to have a crack.

    Here's how Vince got out.

41 matches now in international cricket for James Vince. Is that his lot? For me, yes.

    Finally, we're back under way.

Eoin Morgan has looked good so far and England need him to continue.

A brilliant drive by Eoin Morgan. No need to chase that.

  15. Eng 50-3published at 8.5 overs

A blow might be kind, Charlotte. That's got to be the end, surely? I don't think he'd be playing in this series if Dawid Malan was fit.

Beautiful from Eoin Morgan as he crunches through the covers for four more.

Oh! He's not read that one properly though as he attempts to duck a shorter ball and it cannons off his helmet and away for a leg bye.

He's fine to continue after a quick concussion check but we've got a delay as he waits for a new helmet.

Gone! Is that the end of James Vince's international career?

It's not an outside edge that does for Vince, this time it's the inside edge. He's trapped on the crease and almost looks beaten for pace and gets a fine tickle through to Lorcan Tucker.

Excellent review from Andrew Balbirnie and Ireland.

The Ireland players certainly seem to think there was an edge on it.

  20. Ireland reviewpublished at 14:37 British Summer Time 4 August 2020

Hmmm, Ireland think they've got James Vince caught behind here.

I must admit, I thought it was out but Martin Saggers shakes his head.

Ireland waste pretty much no time in going for the review.
