Glamorgan have just slipped to 42-7 against Northants, Jack White removing Timm van der Gugten for his third wicket. They still need another 31 runs to avoid an innings defeat.

Leicestershire have lost a couple of wickets in their second innings against Notts - Steven Mullaney has just dismissed Harry Dearden to leave the Foxes 36-2 and still 85 behind.

North Group leaders Derbyshire are 127-1 against Durham at Chester-le-Street with opener Luis Reece just a couple of runs away from his fifty. They trail by 210.

    Worcs 351-6 v Warwickshire 355-9d

Worcestershire have their fourth batting bonus point and are about to take the lead.

They still have 10 overs of their allocation remaining so 400 is very much within their reach.

So despite that wobble, they still have the chance to claim the ascendency into the third innings of the match.

This has now turned from a solid into a really good start by Lancashire's openers.

Alex Davies is having a field day - he's up to 43 - with Keaton Jennings seeing the shine off the new ball at the other end.

Ollie Robinson picks up his third wicket!

Middlesex opener Sam Robson is the man to go, caught well by Tom Clark.

The home side's pursuit of 193 is faltering big time.

  5. Glamorgan six downpublished at 14:58 British Summer Time 24 August 2020

    Northants 332 v Glamorgan 259 & 28-6

They've gone past their lowest ever score of 22, but Glamorgan have just lost their sixth wicket.

And it's the captain Chris Cooke who nicks Jack White to second slip.

    28-6... not good.

Wickets everywhere... except at Headingley where Lancashire openers Alex Davies and Keaton Jennings are doing a fine job for the Red Rose county.

    Davies is into the 30s.

    D'Oliveira lbw Bresnan 15 (Worcs 325-6 v Warwickshire 355-9d)

    This Worcestershire push is stalling.

Full and angling in from Tim Bresnan and he beats Brett D'Oliveira's forward defence and wins an lbw.

Still 14 more overs for the home side, they need to use these wisely.

    Stevens c Borthwick b Dunn 0 (Surrey 278 v Kent 342 and 69-5)

Wow this is an official collapse by Kent now.

They've lost 4 for 6 in five overs!

Full wide ball from Matt Dunn that Darren Stevens can't resist having a thrash at and he edges to second slip!

Surrey right back in the game.

    Kent lead by only 133.

    Gubbins c Brown b Robinson 0 (Middlesex 48-2 - target 193 v Sussex)

Two in two balls for Ollie Robinson!

Nick Gubbins snicks his first delivery behind and Robinson is on a hat-trick...

But Stevie Eskinazi sees out the hat-trick ball.

    Holden c Brown b Robinson 28 (Middlesex 48-1 - target 193 v Sussex)

    Beauty from Ollie Robinson!

The Sussex seamer gets the ball to nip away from Max Holden and the left-hander nicks it through to the keeper.

    Cox b Clarke 32 (Surrey 278 v Kent 342 and 68-4)

A potentially match-changing spell this from Rikki Clarke.

He gets one to bounce and nip in to Jordan Cox, beating the inside edge.

Very smart delivery and Kent are wobbling.

Good news. It's stopped raining at Taunton and the umpires will have a look in about 30 minutes from now.

Plenty of mopping up to do though at the County Ground.

  14. Glamorgan slip to 16-5published at 14:39 British Summer Time 24 August 2020

    Northants 332 v Glamorgan 259 & 16-5

Glamorgan's collapse continues at Wantage Road.

Joe Cooke and Callum Taylor fall within the space of four balls to leave the Welsh county 16-5.

They'll go past their lowest ever score of 22 surely? But maybe not their lowest against Northants - the 54 they made in 1921.

    Wessels b Hannon-Dalby 0 (Worcs 317-5 v Warwickshire 355-9d)

Two in the over for Olly Hannon-Dalby as Riki Wessels pokes forward and drags on.

That's a blow for Worcestershire's hope of quick runs.

  16. wicket

    Fell b Hannon-Dalby 55 (Worcs 317-4 v Warwickshire 355-9d)

Tom Fell giving himself some room to try and hit over the off side is done by a spearing full delivery from the tall Olly Hannon-Dalby.

    Robinson b Clarke 0 (Surrey 278 v Kent 342 and 63-3)

Two wickets in four balls for Rikki Clarke.

Ollie Robinson shoulders arms but a good length ball doesn't leave him and flicks the off stump.

Kent 127 ahead and work to do.

  18. Postpublished at 14:32 British Summer Time 24 August 2020

    Middlesex 41-0 (target 193) v Sussex

Middlesex are off to a solid start in pursuit of 193.

Max Holden has just biffed Sussex seamer Will Sheffield through the covers for his fifth boundary and he goes to 25. Beautiful stroke.

    Another 152 needed.

  19. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:32 British Summer Time 24 August 2020

    Leaning lbw Clarke 14 (Surrey 278 v Kent 342 and 63-2)

Nothing more than steady progress for Kent since lunch and now they've lost Jack Leaning.

Pushing at a Rikki Clarke delivery that doesn't appear to do much, beats the inside edge and Leaning probably wasn't outside the line.

  20. 50 runs

for Tom Fellpublished at 14:29 British Summer Time 24 August 2020

    Worcs 304-3 v Warwickshire 355-9d

Tom Fell's first red-ball century since beginning treatment for testicular cancer back in 2015 pulled at the heartstrings last week.

More runs for him here and fifty in 96 balls with seven fours.

Can he put the pedal down?
