Hello! This is lovely from Mohammad Rizwan.
It's not a bad delivery from Saqib Mahmood but he shuffles towards the ball, and plays a superb crunching drive for four.

It's a terrific start for England and it gives a little bit of leeway to the other bowlers. The cagier batsman would probably now play on merit and not play explosive cricket but we never quite know what Fakhar Zaman will do.
A maiden to start from Lewis Gregory.
There's an appeal for lbw against Fakhar Zaman - who is wearing his helmet slightly crooked - but the ball was pitching outside leg.
Lewis Gregory is going to take the other new ball.

Streaky!
Mohammad Rizwan gets off the mark with a thick outside edge down to third.
The perfect start for England.

Two wickets before the Barmy Army had finished singing Jerusalem.
Pakistan wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan is the new batter.
Ben Stokes has gone to three slips.

It was almost ankle height but there was enough pace on the ball to carry. What a start this is; to get Imam was fantastic but to get Babar Azam, the best batsman in the world, is just perfect.

A remarkable start from this new-look England side.
Babar c Crawley b Mahmood 0 (Pak 0-2)
WOW! The number one batter in the world is gone without scoring!
Saqib Mahmood has started perfectly, and this is the perfect delivery to Babar Azam. He gets squared up, and a thick edge goes to Zak Crawley at second slip. It's a good catch from Crawley, diving in front of him.
What a perfect start for England.

What a dramatic start, it did just enough and straightened.
Imam lbw b Mahmood 0 (Pak 0-1)
Red. Red. Red. WHAT A START!
Ben Stokes wasn't initially convinced about the review, showing he thought it was pitching outside leg, but there was a shout - I think from John Simpson behind the stumps - to say "I think that was inline" and England wisely opt for the review. It was pitching just inline, and was hitting three quarters of the way up leg stump.
That will settle a fair few nerves.

I think it might have pitched outside.
The debate was whether it pitched outside leg.
There is definitely no bat.

Everyone gave that out in the commentary box...

That looked a good shout from here.
Wow! What a start!
Huge appeal for lbw first up, and Ben Stokes decides to review after a chat.

It's extraordinary that England still have six capped players in the starting XI, it shows their depth.
Saqib Mahmood, who has played four ODIs for England, is going to open the bowling.
He's been recovering from a slight injury, hence why he was left out of the original squad.
