This is only the sixth time England have had five debutants in an ODI side. There was a much-changed team against Ireland in 2019 but before that you've got to go back to 1996 against Pakistan. It was the first game of a series after a Test series.

It would've been surreal for a lot of the guys to get the call up, it just wouldn't have been on their radars. There are benefits to being in a squad for a long time but it can bring anxiety as to when you are going to get a chance in the starting team.
But when you're called up out of the blue you don't have time to worry and it can actually be a good thing.

This pitch might be a little bit two paced. The odd ball is keeping a bit low, some are flying through, and Fakhar Zaman miscued a pull in that over.
