  1. Pak 35-2published at 8 overs

Lewis Gregory has bowled well but, for the second time in his spell, he oversteps the mark and offers Pakistan another free hit.

Mohammad Rizwan can't make the most of it, pulling the short ball straight to a fielder in the deep.

In an attempt to force the runs, Fakhar Zaman takes a wild swing and top edges it down to third man, the ball falling a metre or so short of the fielder.

    Frustration showing here for Pakistan.

  2. Pak 31-2published at 7.3 overs

    Fakhar 4, Rizwan 4

Babar Azam is sat on the team balcony, wearing a sleeveless zip-up hoody and with a huge frown on his face.

On the field, this Pakistan pair just can't seem to find the middle of the bat.

Babar's duck in the first game was his first single-figure score in ODI cricket since November 2018.

He had made 28 consecutive double-figure scores, and if he'd made one more he'd have tied the all-time record held by Javed Miandad.

  4. Pak 31-2published at 7 overs

Saqib Mahmood bowls with such consistency, hitting his line and lengths. So far, he's really taken this chance he's been given in the starting XI.

There's oohs and aahs after every delivery as Mahmood invites another play and a miss from Rizwan.

Just the one from the over.

That was a lovely shot, it was just a push. He didn't try and overhit it.

Lewis Gregory was just slightly straighter in line, and it was just a semi-defensive push.

  6. Pak 30-2published at 6 overs

Has Babar Azam found a new bogeyman in 24-year-old Saqib Mahmood?

Meanwhile, Lewis Gregory is targeting the pads of Mohammad Rizwan, searching for another lbw. The England seamer then bowls a decent line outside off and Rizwan shoulders his arms, a good leave.

Rizwan is off the mark with a punch down to long-on for four.

There's no bat involved and that is a BIG wicket for England!

    It's a lovely length again.

Saqib Mahmood has bowled nicely so far, he's bowled a challenging back of a length so far, which means the batter can't score. But that fuller line brought the batter forward and it was a tentative prod.

  15. Pak 25-1published at 4.3 overs

Fakhar Zaman pushes into the leg side and wants a single, he's sent scrambling back by his captain. A run out would undoubtedly rile up the away fans here.

Saqib Mahmood then bowls another cracking delivery, the ball swinging late and zipping past the outside edge.

That's a beautiful, languid shot off his knees. Babar is a beautiful player to watch.

  20. Pak 16-1published at 3.2 overs

Fakhar Zaman, yet to score from seven deliveries, advances down the track and slaps Gregory straight to mid-off.

He does get off the mark off his eight delivery with a push down to the same fielder.

Babar Azam clips Gregory through backward square for four. To make matters worse, it's a no-ball. Free hit for Pakistan.
