There are two lads along from me in the seats outside the pavilion setting a frightening pace. I reckon they are asking to come past me en route to the bar every 20 minutes. Remember the beer glasses with interlocking handles? One of them just came back holding five pints. Chapeau.

England have a few fielders out in the deep to protect the boundaries. That means there are a few singles on offer. Thakur takes one of them.

There was definite spin for Moeen there. Haseeb Hameed took the catch and then ran straight towards Moeen to celebrate.

England are going for their last review.

Short leg Haseeb Hameed has taken a catch. He was convinced there was an inside edge.

How long can Rishabh Pant stay in patient mode? He has been very restrained so far.

What a day of Test cricket. The sun is out and wickets are falling - I didn't expect that with the conditions.

With that wicket Moeen Ali has overtaken Jim Laker in the list of England spinners to take Test wickets.

Laker had 193, and Moeen now has 194. Only Graeme Swann and Derek Underwood have taken more.

Moeen has bowled less overs than Laker, but has conceded considerably more.

Thakur pushes his first run into a space in the off side.

Kohli, who whacked something in the dressing room on the way off, has now changed out of his whites and is sat on the balcony looking very disappointed in himself.

Thakur can bat. We saw that in the first innings when he smashed a dazzling fifty. Pant faces all of Woakes' over so the new man is yet to face a ball.

India have now lost 3-16 since Chris Woakes entered the attack, almost 10 overs ago.

It is sixth time that Moeen Ali has dismissed Virat Kohl in Tests for just 196 runs - he averages 32.6 against Moeen.

It is another unconverted start. It is the fifth time this summer, including the World Test Championship final, that Kohli has made 40, and his highest score is just 55.

    Just joining us?

England are back in it after Chris Woakes took two wickets in his first two overs just before midday. Moeen has just taken the big wicket of Virat Kohli and now Shardul Thakur us in.

Moeen has his bunny again! Virat Kohli is out. A massive, humongous moment in this match.

Kohli prods forward, playing for turn and nicks to slip.

    It's game on my friends.
