With that wicket Moeen Ali has overtaken Jim Laker in the list of England spinners to take Test wickets.

Laker had 193, and Moeen now has 194. Only Graeme Swann and Derek Underwood have taken more.

Moeen has bowled less overs than Laker, but has conceded considerably more.

Thakur pushes his first run into a space in the off side.

Kohli, who whacked something in the dressing room on the way off, has now changed out of his whites and is sat on the balcony looking very disappointed in himself.

It is another unconverted start. It is the fifth time this summer, including the World Test Championship final, that Kohli has made 40, and his highest score is just 55.
