Now that is brave, Lucy. I hope he has good taste.

Jadeja is bowling some right rubbish here. Haseeb Hameed tickles him fine for four and India's spinner looks despondent as he scratches at the turf with his boot.

My husband and I are moving into a new house in October and tend to disagree on interiors. I am so confident of an England victory I have wagered that if they lose he can pick the bathroom tiles.

Is Prakash trying to tempt fate there a little? I reckon so but with every one of these overs ticked off and every run scored England's hopes rise a smidge. No magic from Bumrah in this over.

I'm not sure and I am not sure the Indians are convinced themselves. They might be playing a game here.

This isn't one hand one bounce, lads. Hameed is fine.

India are appealing for something - lbw and a catch at bat-pad, I think. It's Hameed in danger.

The umpires have asked for another look.

There's a significant Kiwi-turned-Cumbrian-turned-Superhero hole in this batting line-up though, Ed.

The questions to ask; is this bowling attack better than Australia in 2019, and is this surface harder to play on? If the answer is no to both, then why not back England to win?

Well that stat settles it then. England are doing alright.

I'm sure there's a stat around that says when Rory Burns gets in he scores a lot of runs. He looks good. This was from a couple of overs ago...

Steve: Runs matter. If England shut up shop, soon India will feel that they don’t have to stop runs & can attack all out for however long it takes. Keep an England win within reach at least theoretically & India will keep a few defensive fielders giving us an easier ride.

Graham: I hope England actually have a go at winning this. Playing for a draw and being negative will inevitably end in defeat, as it did in the second Test. We need to be positive.

I'll say this from behind a cushion but Ravindra Jadeja is not bowling particularly well. He lobs up a full toss which Burns could have hit anywhere.

Mohammed Siraj has also just produced one of the worst run-out throw attempts I have ever seen. It was England-like.
