We're still thinking about breakfast at the moment. I'm not sure what I'm going to have. I'm normally in kebab mode at this time.
Michael Vaughan hinted at this pre-lunch but there is a chance that we may get some interruptions between now and the close of play.

England were very good, especially the seamers - they didn't let Sri Lanka of the hook. It all comes down to fielding pressure. That's what's required on these slow pitches. The Sri Lankans have been found wanting.
Right, back to Galle. We've got about five minutes till the afternoon session gets under way.
England will want to break this Angelo Mathews-Dinesh Chandimal partnership as soon as possible.

The real shame of this whole thing it has overshadowed an incredible final day of the third Test. It was a heroic India draw. The cricket has been tantalising and enthralling.

Jonny: Listening to Langer defend Steve Smith by explaining that he's just Steve Smith being Steve Smith in his own little Steve Smith world. Glad that's all cleared up then...
The Australians can't avoid controversy for too long can they?
Head coach Justin Langer has launched a staunch defence of captain Tim Paine and Steve Smith amid the sledging/pitch-scuffing fallout from the thrilling drawn third Test against India. Langer can't hide his anger here...
Let's turn our attention away from Galle for a few minutes, and look at the fallout from the events in Sydney between Australia-India the other day.

Kusal Perera is an aggressor but I just think that when your team have lost a couple, you've got to understand that you can't just play one way all the time. You've got to assess conditions and make sure you just don't just gift the opponents with another gift, and that's exactly what he did.
I can't see him being consistent playing such high-risk cricket at the top of the order in Test cricket.
Stuart Broad: 2-14 from five overs
Sam Curran: 0-8 from four overs
Mark Wood: 0-10 from three overs
Dom Bess: 1-17 from six overs
Jack Leach: 0-15 from six overs

I don't think the pitch will explode like we sometimes think it may after seeing it on the first morning. It generally lasts a bit longer, but I think if we see this Test match going into day four or five we're see plenty more action for the spin bowlers.
I wouldn't want to be a seam bowler, that's my thought process of the morning. Even though Stuart Broad has got two wickets, I wouldn't want to be charging in on this wicket.
It was a fairly good morning session for England.
After losing the toss they restricted Sri Lanka to 65-3 at lunch with Angelo Mathews and stand-in captain Dinesh Chandimal unbeaten on 17 and 22 respectively.
Stuart Broad had Lahiru Thirimanne caught at leg slip by Jonny Bairstow, before having Kusal Mendis caught behind two balls later. Mendis has now registered four successive ducks.
Kusal Perera was then dismissed reverse sweeping Dom Bess' second ball before Mathews and Chandimal saw the hosts through to lunch.
It could have been better for England, but debutant Dan Lawrence dropped Chandimal in the covers on 22, off Jack Leach.

It is not possible for England to face a more varied year of Test cricket than the one they have in front of them.
They will likely play 17 Tests in a hectic 2021, starting against Sri Lanka, before four Tests in India, a full home summer and the small matter of the Ashes in Australia next winter.
As ever, so much focus throughout the year will be on the Ashes. The conditions they will find down under could not be more different from those in Galle on Thursday, or in India next month, but that does not make these matches any less relevant.
It is a chance for players to establish themselves, to gain confidence in their technique, to score runs or take wickets and, most importantly, it is an opportunity for England to win matches.
It is much easier to play any sport when you are used to winning.
Essex batsman Dan Lawrence is making his England debut in this game.
Earlier in the week Stephan Shemilt caught up with him, and his dad Mark, to discover how he got into cricket and how his journey has led him to a place in England's middle order.
On the quiz that Amy mentioned a handful of posts down, we've been sitting on that since June waiting for a debutant so please do all spare some time to have a crack...

Thanks Amy. It has been slow at times, but a riveting morning of Test match cricket.
England will be pretty happy with their morning, though, surely?
Michael Vaughan, weather forecaster, there.
Right, I am going to eat something that isn't chocolate. Callum Matthews will take you through to tea.

I do think we're going to get a sprinkling of rain today - and seeing those white birds on the ground always makes me think that.
In case you're just waking up and joining us, Essex batsman Dan Lawrence is making his England debut.
He becomes the 123rd player to represent England in Test cricket this century.
How many of the other 122 do you think you can name?
