Brutal!
Ben Stokes has two men out on the pull for Virat Kohli but the India skipper just pulverises it between the two of them.
Great shot.

Where were you when England beat India in Chennai is not gong to be a hard one to answer...
Jeremy, Worcs
Target 420
Looking at the replay that was pretty poor judgement from Ravichandran Ashwin. The ball was nowhere near wide enough to cut.
It was another good catch by Jos Buttler, though. He's been excellent with the gloves again.

It has just bounced and that's why patience is a key. You don't have to be spot on every ball because something will happen on this surface.
England just wanted to this wicket because these three remaining batsmen are not the best. I see England winning quickly now.
Shahbaz Nadeem is the new batsman.
He has a first-class century, but he looked all at sea in the first innings.

It was way too short for the cut. England fans, if there were any of a nervous disposition, I imagine those nerves have settled.

The breakthrough!
Ravichandran Ashwin's eyes light up as Jack Leach gives him a tidy bit of width, but it is not that wide. He tries to cut away, but it flicks off the gloves and through to the keeper.
England celebrate immediately and eventually the umpire raises his finger to end a 54-run stand between Ashwin and Virat Kohli.
Jack Leach has three wickets. England need three more wickets to win.

Harrison Short: The unsung heroes of this Test match have been the umpires. The officiating has been absolutely fantastic, especially for umpires with a combined total of five Test matches between them.
Virat Kohli averages 73.1 in the second innings of Tests. Frightening.
Apart from that edge through Ben Stokes off Jack Leach it has been a chanceless innings from the India skipper.

Shot!
It's not a bad ball by any means from Ben Stokes and Virat Kohli just stands tall and crunches a drive through the covers, on his tiptoes, for another boundary.
That's the 50 partnership.

Tattz: In all the deserved Jimmy praise, an honourable mention for that wicket from Leach. Pujara was the one batsman I was most worried about today. Great comeback from Leach after that treatment from Pant in the first innings.
Target 420
Virat Kohli has looked really good to be fair. It's effortless as he uses his wrists to pick up three through square leg.
This partnership is worth 48 now off 97 balls. Frustrating for England.

Just starting to wonder if there is a correlation between the snow and the cricket? Snowed for the last two Tests and England have done well. How can we make sure it is snowing for the others?

England have got to be patient, it will happen. Just keep bowling their best balls and hang in there.

Ben Stokes starts with a maiden.
There are 54 overs left in the day.
James Anderson's spell is indeed over.
On comes Ben Stokes.
Two GOATs, two very different emotions.

Changing it up in a series can be a good thing. You do get used to bowlers, and get into a groove, so it's can be a good thing to give the opposition something different to think about.

Chance!
Virat Kohli edges through Ben Stokes' legs at first slip. It went low so it would have been a great catch but that's a chance.
Chris Silverwood throws his head back and grits his teeth in the England changing room.
Ravichandran Ashwin is more than 3m down the pitch so we stick with the umpire's call.
The ball was going a reasonable amount over the top of the stumps too.
Not a great review from England.
