    India will resume this morning 54-1, already 249 runs ahead of England.

    Considering Joe Root's side were bowled out for 134 yesterday they probably already have enough runs.

    How will they play it today? Grind England into the red Chennai dirt or look to win in three days?

    Even the biggest England fan would find it hard to make a serious case for a victory or even a draw from here.

    But, until that final wicket falls, there's a chance - no matter how small.

    More realistically the final three days of the Test are about England salvaging what they can.
