We did have a glider interrupt play by landing on our pitch at RAF Hereford in 1973.

We have seen some miracle Test matches in the last couple of years, but it's such a long way off...
Alternatively, just let me know the strange things that have interrupted your games.
There's the challenge, then. We could do with a sketch of some hay being dumped on to a pitch by a tornado, please.

Ryan Greenaway: We once had a Somerset League match at Curry Rivel interrupted by a mini tornado that came over the back of the pavilion and dumped a load of hay on the pitch. No photos as this was before smart phone era in the 90's. Am sure some talented folk can sketch it out.

It's about England trying to get as much out of the game as they possibly can.

England have got to hang in there and dig in. There is that thing in the back of your mind - you just never know...

Being 350 ahead in Chennai is a bit like being 500 ahead on most other grounds.
The Cricket Social
Here comes The Cricket Social, revved up and ready to go.
You can listen at the top of this page.
They'll do well to top yesterday's 'Tuff Justice', the crime drama starring Phil Tufnell.

In all seriousness, though, he's been superb, hasn't he?
Funny, though. After the last Test we were wondering why Jos Buttler couldn't play this one.
England might be in a ticklish position if Foakes keeps playing like this.
And, before it comes up, surely they don't want to go back down the route of playing Buttler, Foakes (and possibly Bairstow) in the same team?
It's not that hard, is it? He's got big gloves on.
Thank you for your company this morning. Stephan Shemilt is here to take over. He reckons he could have taken both of those Foakes stumpings. Don't be afraid to tell him he's wrong.
England took five wickets in the morning session and India added 102 runs.
The highlight from an England perspective has been some stunning wicketkeeping from Ben Foakes. He claimed two stumpings. The first was impressive, quick work to see off Rohit Sharma. The second, which dismissed Rishabh Pant, was sensational.
England claimed 5-52 in the first 75 minutes of the session and the hosts were 106-6. Jack Leach and Moeen Ali took two wickets each.
Since then a partnership of 50 between Virat Kohli and Ravichandran Ashwin has taken India's lead to a massive 351 at lunch.
It's a lot easier when the pressure is off, I know, but Kohli and Ashwin have shown it's not completely impossible to bat. Difficult but not impossible.
India have just been better than England in their favoured conditions.

Ashwin & Kohli demonstrating that we should stop whingeing about the playing surface.

England fought hard in that session. It wasn't those last two hours that lost them this match.
Ben Foakes provided a masterclass.
Lead by 351
Kohli runs straight across the danger area of the pitch and gets a warning from the umpire. He is protesting, angrily shaking his head and pointing his bat. I'm not sure why. He is guilty.
Anyway, that is lunch. England were going well before Kohli and Ashwin held firm. India are still so far in front they're out of sight.
Chris Silverwood was having a full0on giggle when that replay was shown. Root seemed to mouth "my bad". Maybe Root just wanted to see Ben Foakes' take again on the big screen.
