Here he is; Ravichandran Ashwin has the ball in his hands.

Shot!
Width from Ishant Sharma, a rare loose delivery, and Jonny Bairstow doesn't have to move in order to whip it up and over the heads of the slip cordon and down to the boundary.
That's the correct attitude to take, Mike.
Ishant Sharma has replaced Mohammed Siraj.

Mike Hodder: If I’m not going to take comfort in England’s batting, I’m at least going to take comfort in watching it with a nice warm fire.
Ben Stokes gets a little lucky as he tries a sweep, makes a hash of it, and ends up gloving the ball over the heads of Rishabh Pant and a backpedalling Ajinkya Rahane.
Jonny Bairstow makes a more convincing go of things by slapping a short Axar delivery through point for four.

GRB: Pink ball - no. Poor umpiring - no. Disintegrating pitch - no. Oh well, guess it’s just England’s poor batting then.
With half an hour left in the morning session, England bring up their 50. Shame about the three wickets, really.

Bairstow 14, Stokes 14
The most controlled shot from Jonny Bairstow so far as he hops onto the back foot and cuts Axar Patel handsomely for four.
It is *three* degrees. I got up at 3am and there was frost on the windows. The heating absolutely needs to be on, Tom.
However, I'll happily introduce you to my Dad, as I feel you'd get on.

It's March, the heating does not need to be on. As a tight Northerner (in exile surrounded by Southerners) that's angered me even more than England's batting.

Four more!
Another streaky boundary from Ben Stokes, again off the outside edge, and it beats Rohit Sharma once again. Siraj offers Stokes some more batting tips.
Edged - but four! That won't improve Siraj's mood as Ben Stokes somehow gets the ball past a diving Rohit Sharma.
That's a much better shot from Stokes though, pulling hard through mid-wicket, and he gets another boundary for his troubles.
Mohammed Siraj now has something to say to Ben Stokes, who just grins.
Siraj's point is rather ruined by the fact that he's just bowled a no ball...
Well, that was all a bit undignified.
Quite enjoyed the umpire trying to stop them arguing by putting his arm in the middle of the two players and then escorting them away while they were still going at each other.
Hello, Virat Kohli and Ben Stokes are having a few words - so much so that the umpire steps in.
They're still going at it...
Siraj 4-0-9-1
In case you're wondering how England's day is going, Ben Stokes has almost been caught trying to leave his first delivery. How long before Ashwin gets his hands on the ball? He's got an astonishingly good record against Stokes.
That Joe Root lbw, by the way, was absolutely stone dead.
Root lbw b Siraj 5 (Eng 30-3)
And he strikes with his first ball!
Shades of the Joe Root of old in this dismissal - trapped on the crease and pinned lbw. Maybe a lapse of concentration after the drinks break but that looked very, very out. No foot movement, no attempt to get forward from Root, and the ball has crashed into the pads. Root considers the review for half a second and then walks off. Trouble, trouble, trouble.
