Crawley 4, Sibley 2
Another bat tickler from Ishant Sharma beats Zak Crawley as he hangs back in defence, the ball positively whipping past the batsman's outside edge.
An angled beauty rises over the top of Crawley's stumps, and Rishabh Pant ends up taking the ball above his head.

I will say that this team means there's an increased chance of Dan Lawrence and/or Dom Sibley having a bowl on free-to-air TV, which I am absolutely, 100% looking forward to. As a kid, nothing charmed me more than batsmen turning their arms over with varying degrees of competence.

Matt Roberts: Funny how just two changes can completely change the balance of a side. First time Stokes will ever open the bowling?
Not much fun for Zak Crawley at the minute. Rapped on the glove by the final ball of the first over, he now has a loose yahoo at Ishant Sharma outside his off stump.
He's off the mark, though, punching the ball straight past a tumbling Ishant and away for a couple of runs.

Tom: I’m desperately hoping this cricket is uneventful this morning as I try to stay awake watching
Misguided from Mohammed Siraj and the ball flies off Dom Sibley's thigh pad and away for four byes.
Sibley, wisely, opts to defend for the rest of the over.
Runs! Two of them, to be exact, as Dom Sibley tickles his first delivery through backward point.
Mohammed Siraj responds with a beauty that zips past Sibley's off stump, before he's beaten all ends up by an inswinger.
Ishant Sharma, incidentally, is in the Stuart Broad league of appealing. Excellent work.
Sharing new ball new duties will be Mohammed Siraj.
Strange, that - it didn't feel right. Zak Crawley is a tall lad and the ball hit him above the knee roll. Ball-tracking has it going over the stumps by some way.
There's a very healthy smattering of green on this pitch, and some very nice seam and carry for Ishant Sharma.
And it's not - going over the top by some distance, thanks to some extra bounce.
Doesn't look right, this, to me...
Virat Kohli was asking if Crawley had hit this, but there's a gap between bat and pad big enough to get a bus through...
Well, Ross...
India are sending an lbw shout against Zak Crawley upstairs, and it's off the second ball of the match!

Ross: Let’s just not be 50-3 by 5am please.
Inswing for Ishant Sharma first up, and Zak Crawley happily lets the ball go through to Rishabh Pant.
Zak Crawley and Dom Sibley are out in the middle. Ishant Sharma has the ball in his hand. I've got a coffee.
Let's do this.
England captain Joe Root: "We want to make use of the first innings. It will start spinning at some point. We've had ups and downs and there has been progression and improvement - and that's all we ask of this side."
India captain Virat Kohli: "Quite a no-brainer, we would have batted first as well. Looks a good wicket to bat first. We have to be at our best and England have put us under pressure in the past and this series as well."
There must be some of you out there who've had a similar experience to Akila Dananjaya? Extra points if you've taken a hat-trick and been hit for a bucketload of runs.
