Looking at both sides spinners in this game - India's took 8-129 and went for 2.4 an over, England's have taken 2-143 and gone at 3.3 an over.
It is even more distinct if you look at the right-arm off-spinners - Ravichandran Ashwin and Washington Sundar took 4-41 and Joe Root and Dom Bess are 0-84.

After a long tour, where it has gone pretty poorly in the last two or three games, and you're a facing a big deficit it could get quite ugly for England tomorrow.

The way that James Anderson and Ben Stokes got the ball moving, and the attiriton of Anderson, just bowling maiden after maiden, it really was high-class Test match cricket.
But we're seeing a special player in Rishabh Pant. I think over the next 10-12 years we are really going to enjoy watching him because it was an innings of great maturity today. We expect him to whack it into the stand and he didn't do that, he play cleverly.

I don't think I've ever been as disappointed with the management of a player as I am with Dom Bess. I've got to be honest.
What they are expecting from a kid to suddenly then put him under this amount of spotlight, after being dropped. It is just completely wrong.

Got to take your hat off - what an innings by Pant, makes me question though, our wicket-keeper batsman (Buttler) who can change games with an innings like that hasn't played since the first Test because he's being rested still. It baffles me.

For two sessions England were magnificent and India struggled because of the brilliance of James Anderson, Ben Stokes and Jack Leach.
England were very good and I just worry about the hour after tea with the two left-handers - Rishabh Pant and Washington Sundar - that was when the game was on a knife edge, it really was. Could England get a lead? They had to win that hour, and to come out and see Dom Bess and Joe Root bowling and 30-40 runs to come quickly, England almost looked deflated.
England haven't read the conditions well in the past two matches (although I think a lot of 'pitch reading' is just people making stuff up).
In retrospect, that first Test win is even more impressive than it already was, because they have had some chastening days since then.

John Petrie: This series is showing that England's mental resilience is not as strong as it needs to be. The pitches, spin or not spin, all seem to have got inside the players' heads, and those of the selectors.

This session the pitch has played liked a normal Indian Test match wicket - it has been flat, it has done nothing for the seamers, the outfield has been quick and there has been a little bit of spin but nothing untoward.
It feels like it does more for the seamers in the morning and then you want your spinners to do the work.
England were outstanding in the morning session and, up until tea, this Test was in the balance.
And then along came Rishabh Pant. And just like that, the Test slipped out of their grasp.
It's not over, of course; there's still three days and another innings left. But it's a long trudge back from here.
