Washington Sundar is the new man. He's had a bit-part in the last couple of Tests. India could do with him playing the supporting actor to Pant's lead.

That was a good ball, but not a very clever shot by R Ashwin. He played against the spin on a turning pitch.

That is an awful shot, in the circumstances, but perfect for England.

    England have another!

Don't you love it when a plan comes together?

Ollie Pope had been pushed back to short mid-wicket, with Ravichandran Ashwin obligingly playing a pretty awful stab against the spin. Pope takes the catch above his head.

England can dream of a lead.

There's always a bit of fear, in the back of my mind, that England might get blown away again when they bat.

Direct hit from Jonny Bairstow, but a diving Rishabh Pant is home. That's how it is out there at the moment. Nervous. Tetchy. Frantic.

Or, as Abhishek says, India could get rolled.

To sum up, we don't know what will happen.

If Rishabh gets out now, India could be rolled for 180. It's just a matter of a wicket or two here for England.

For as well as England have bowled, they still have work to do. Rishabh remains and could explode at any moment. We know that Ashwin, Washington and Axar can all get runs. One partnership for India would be crucial.

I'm trying to think where a stand-in might be useful in other jobs. Can I get someone to plug my laptop in?

Stokes' red hair is bouncing as he skates in - he's looking more like Vincent van Gogh with each passing delivery. He produces an absolute beauty that leaves Ashwin from just back of a length. Stokes has bowled more overs than any other bowler today. Tireless.

My son was the lighting stand-in for James McAvoy for the X-Men films. Had to stand all day whilst the lighting was set up as he is a similar build, didn't appear in the film at all.

The concern for England, who will have to set a target, is that it's starting to turn. Axar and co will be a real handful in the third innings. There's about half an hour to go until tea.
