    Warwickshire 199-2 (target 256) v Essex

That's one way to break the shackles!

Sam Hain gets out the reverse sweep to Simon Harmer and the ball races to the boundary.

Hain is up to 38, Rob Yates has 91.

The Bears need another 57 off 12.5 overs.

  3. 150 runs

for Vasconcelospublished at 17:23 British Summer Time 25 April 2021

    Northants 364 & 313-2 (target 355) v Glamorgan 407 & 320-5 dec

An imperious innings reaches 150 for Ricardo Vasconcelos who started well and has just got better and better.

He's still in the middle with Rob Keogh (126*) and now they only need 35 runs for the win.

This scenario is not what Glamorgan had in mind when they declared - but you have to credit Northants who started quickly and haven't looked back.

    Taylor lbw Crane 4 (Hampshire 470 v Gloucestershire 320 & 173-9 (f/o)

    Gloucestershire are nine down!

Three quick wickets have seen the course of this session change dramatically.

Mason Crane gets in on the act to trap Matthew Taylor lbw.

One wicket to go - the Glos lead is 23.

  5. Postpublished at 17:16 British Summer Time 25 April 2021

    Durham v Derbyshire 245-5 (target 384)

Harvey Hosein and Brooke Guest have settled things down for Derbyshire after those two quick wickets fell.

16 overs remain at Chester-le-Street, Durham need five wickets.

The target of 384 is nominal now. It's about survival.

    Hankins c Vince b Wheal 8 (Hampshire 470 v Gloucestershire 320 & 161-8)

Brad Wheal really wants to win this!

George Hankins scored eight from 32 balls before Wheal had him caught by James Vince.

And then Wheal has bowled Daniel Worrall first ball - taking leg stump out of the ground in the process!

This game looked to be heading nowhere for a while but those two wickets will give Hampshire hope of completing an unlikely win.

    Game on!

    Warwickshire 187-2 (target 256) v Essex

Rob Yates, Sam HainImage source, Rex Features

Plenty of nerves around Edgbaston right now.

Warwickshire need 69 more for victory off 17 overs. Should be a walk in the park, but Essex are the red ball kings.

The Bears won't want it to go down to the last couple of overs, that's for sure.

  8. WORCESTERSHIRE DRAW WITH NOTTSpublished at 16:56 British Summer Time 25 April 2021
    Breaking

    Worcs (436) draw with Notts (276 & 236-0 f/o)

And that's it at New Road.

Haseeb Hameed and Ben Slater walk off, both with centuries under their belts.

For Hameed, it's two hundreds in the same match. A monumental effort.

Hameed spent 824 minutes in the middle over his two innings. Incredible.

  9. wicket

Two wickets for Durhampublished at 16:55 British Summer Time 25 April 2021

    Durham v Derbyshire 233-5 (target 384)

    Game back on at Chester-le-Street!

Matt Critchley (69) and Wayne Madsen (74) both fall in consecutive overs to Paul Coughlin and Ben Raine.

Durham have 20 and a bit overs to get five more wickets.

  10. 100 runs

for Keoghpublished at 16:54 British Summer Time 25 April 2021

    Northants 364 & (target 355) v Glamorgan 407 & 311-5

Rob Keogh reaches his second century of the season.

He and Ricardo Vasconcelos (139*) are edging closer to a 200 partnership and Glamorgan don't seem to be able to come up with the solution of how to break them up.

Ben Curran and Charlie Thurston departed in consecutive overs earlier this afternoon, but since then it's been all about the dangerous Northants duo.

    They require 77 to pull-off this run-chase.

    Warwickshire 178-2 (target 256) v Essex

Warwickshire opener Rob Yates prods one off Simon Harmer past slip and it goes for four. He's up to 85.

It was in the air but not really a chance.

The Bears need another 78 for victory.

LANCASHIRE WIN BY AN INNINGS AND FIVE RUNSpublished at 16:38 British Summer Time 25 April 2021

    Kent 169 & 351 (f/o) v Lancashire 525

What a game Matt Parkinson has had!

It's career-best figures for the Lancashire bowler who has Miguel Cummins caught by Keaton Jennings to end this game at Hove.

He took nine wickets, seven of them in the second innings, to put an end to the Kent resistance.

In the end a fairly comfortable win but Kent, to their credit, fought back incredibly well in their second innings with Daniel Bell-Drummond's 114 the highlight.

It's Matt Parkinson once again who has done the damage - that's his sixth of the innings.

Miguel Cummins is the last man in, with Lancashire on the brink of victory.

    150 up for Warwickshire.

This isn't done and dusted yet, but it would have to be some collapse to lose it from here.

105 more needed for victory with eight wickets in hand. Time shouldn't be an issue - there are 30 overs left.

  20. Postpublished at 16:16 British Summer Time 25 April 2021

    Kent 169 & 347-8 v Lancashire 525

    Close!

Danny Lamb thinks he's broken Fred Klaassen's stubborn resistance but after the latter bottom-edges it, the ball hits the stumps, but not with the required power to remove the bails.

Kent now trail by nine and Lancashire will be mulling over how to break Klaassen and Ollie Robinson up.
