Wayne Madsen and Matt Critchley's unbroken century partnership has given Derbyshire every chance of saving the game.

With 186 needed for victory off 34 overs, would they want to have a go after tea?

Lancashire's bowlers are being made to work for their next wicket by Ollie Robinson and Fred Klaassen.

They're not scoring much but have edged Kent to within 12 of making Lancashire have to bat again.

  12. Hameed for England?published at 15:31 British Summer Time 25 April 2021

    Worcs 436 v Notts 276 & 204-0 (f/o)

    Haseeb HameedImage source, Rex Features

Ben Slater and Haseeb Hameed have both faced the same number of balls in this innings - 278 apiece.

Not often you see that over this length of time. Hameed is eight runs away from his second century of the match and has now been batting for 968 hours.

Good to see the one-time England opener back in a bit of form. Does he have a chance of getting back in the international fold this summer?

Thumbs up if you'd like to see him back playing Test cricket. Thumbs down if not.

    Vihari c Wheater b Walter 52 (Warwickshire 126-2, target 256 v Essex)

    Game back on at Edgbaston.

It's a loose delivery first up from Paul Walter - very wide outside off stump.

Hanuma Vihari drives, the ball goes through to the keeper and up goes the finger. Vihari looks dismayed. He must think he missed it.

    Northants 364 & 170-2 (target 355) v Glamorgan 407 & 311-5

A 47-ball half-century for Rob Keogh has seen Northants steady the ship after losing two quick wickets earlier this afternoon.

He's being more than ably assisted by Ricardo Vasconcelos who is now on 86 not out.

Finely poised now with Northants needing 185 to win.

  16. 50 runs

for Madsenpublished at 15:14 British Summer Time 25 April 2021

    Durham v Derbyshire 178-3 (target 384)

Do Derbyshire still think they have a shout of winning this?

Wayne Madsen brings up a speedy half-century off 75 balls.

They still need another 206 in 40 and a bit overs. Surely not? BBC Radio Newcastle's Martin Emmerson doesn't seem to think so...

    Warwickshire 126-1 (target 256) v Essex

Hanuma Vihari goes to fifty shortly after his batting partner Rob Yates.

It's a first half-century for the India batsman in his fourth innings for Warwickshire.

The Bears seem to be cruising to their target of 256. Essex need wickets, and quickly.

There's Notts opener Ben Slater's ton.

It's come off 268 balls with 11 fours.

Notts lead by 36 and this game is as good as over now. I'm sure the captains will shake hands on a draw after tea.

    Milnes lbw Parkinson 14 (Kent 169 & 331-8 (f/o) v Lancashire 525)

Matt Parkinson has a 'five-fer' after dismissing Matt Milnes lbw.

That brings Fred Klaassen to the crease. He was out first ball in the first innings but has at least survived the first couple of balls this time around.

Kent trailing by 25 but now just those two wickets in hand.
