Derbys 86-8 v Notts 256
And that brings the curtain down on day one.
Derbyshire close in a whole lot of trouble, eight down and still trailing Notts by 170.
They'll do well to avoid the follow-on in the morning.
Yorks 206 v Northants 36-0
Also a good day for Northamptonshire.
They too won the toss and for a while look be running through their hosts at 80-5.
But Dom Bess' fifty rescued a batting point.
It's a still a total Northants will be hopeful of getting past tomorrow.
Durham 88-0 v Warwickshire 87
Durham close an excellent opening day, one run ahead of Warwickshire with all 10 first-innings wickets in hand.
After Ben Raine and Mark Wood did the damage to skittle the Bears for 87, Alex Lees and Will Young have seen Durham through to stumps.
Derbys 82-8 v Notts 256
Ben Aitchison survives Luke Fletcher's hat-trick ball.
But Derbyshire are in all sorts of trouble.
Two overs to go in the day.
Hudson-Prentice b Fletcher 0 (Derbys 82-8 v Notts 256)
And now Fynn Hudson-Prentice is gone first ball, bowled by Luke Fletcher!
The big paceman is on a hat-trick.
Scrimshaw c Moores b Fletcher 0 (Derbys 82-7 v Notts 256)
Derbyshire's first innings is folding.
George Scrimshaw edges Luke Fletcher behind for nought.
Glam 109-2 v Kent 138
What a day for Glamorgan.
They won the toss but Kent were going well at 88-1 before coming crashing down and only one player lower than No. 3 made double figures.
David Lloyd took four of those wickets and it's his fifty that's helped build a steady reply.
Derbys 80-6 v Notts 256
Notts are running through Derbyshire late in the day.
First Harvey Hosein is pinned lbw by Luke Fletcher, and two balls later Matt Critchley edges Dane Paterson behind for 33.
Yorks 206 v Northants 17-0
Ricardo Vasconcelos hasn't been seen by too many but the changed format of this season might showcase his talent to a few more.
He's pulled Jordan Thompson for six and driven David Willey for four to get Northants' reply underway at Headingley.
A career-best steered Northants to an amazing final-day run chase over Glamorgan last week.
Glam 100-2 v Kent 138
This is a smart response by Glamorgan.
David Lloyd is enjoying a fine day after his four wickets early.
He and Billy Root are turning the day into a comprehensive one for the hosts in Cardiff.
Durham 78-0 v Warwickshire 87
Durham openers Alex Lees and Will Young have almost taken their side to parity.
They should go past Warwickshire's first-innings 87 tonight with nine overs remaining.
Glos v Leics 264-4
An excellent first day for Leicestershire.
They were asked to bat first but Gloucestershire's seamers found little help.
Sam Evans' third first-class hundred and Lewis Hill's fifth half-century of the season have put the visitors on top at Bristol.
Derbys 55-4 v Notts 256
South African seamer Dane Paterson has just picked up a fourth wicket for Notts, removing Leus du Plooy lbw for 11.
Derbyshire are four down and still 201 behind.
Worcs v Essex 266-2
Dan Lawrence hits the last ball of the day to the rope off Dillon Pennington and that just about sums up Essex's dominance.
A century from Alastair Cook and unbeaten half-century from captain Tom Westley have put the visitors in command at New Road.
Yorkshire 260 v Northants
Wayne Parnell, the South African left-armer, has finished Yorkshire off for 260.
Parnell claims 5-64 and Northants will be pleased to have bowled their hosts out inside the day having chose to bowl.
But maybe they'll be some regret from 80-5.
Could be a tricky 11 overs of batting to come for the visitors.
Somerset v Middlesex 308-6
That's it for day one at Taunton, and you'd say Middlesex have shaded it.
Robbie White will resume on 70 in the morning.
Yorks 206-9 v Northants
Dom Bess has made a battling fifty for Yorkshire that's given them a batting point and a useful score to work with.
But he's become Gareth Berg's third wicket of the day and Northants are almost through.
Madsen lbw b Broad 0 (Derbys 37-3 v Notts 256)
Second wicket for Stuart Broad...
And it's the big one of Wayne Madsen who goes lbw.
Derbyshire are in a bit of trouble and there are still 12 overs to go today.
Lancs v Sussex 318-7; Glos v Leics 250-4
That is a jolly good first day's play.
Sussex threatened to get ahead of the game on several occasions before being pegged back - largely self-inflicted.
But they close in good shape and a fourth batting point is possible in the morning.
Leicestershire meanwhile have lost Sam Evans for 102 at Bristol but have brought up a second batting point against Gloucestershire.
