Quite a few games are at tea now, so probably a good time to look at the latest scores...

    Yorkshire 111-5 v Northants

The run of wickets from Gareth Berg and Wayne Parnell has put Yorkshire under pressure at Headingley.

But a little stand has developed and Jonny Tattersall and Dom Bess are trying to work them back into the innings.

Still lots to do to work towards bonus point territory.

  4. wicket

Warwickshire all outpublished at 15:52 British Summer Time 29 April 2021

    Durham v Warwickshire 87

Liam Norwell is the last man to go for Warwickshire as he snicks Brydon Carse behind.

But his innings of 25 has helped the Bears recover from what might have been total humiliation at 30-8.

87 all out isn't great mind.

Mark Wood finishes with 3-28, and Ben Raine has 5-9.

    That'll be tea.

  5. Labuschagne in at Cardiffpublished at 15:46 British Summer Time 29 April 2021

    Glam 1-1 v Kent 138

Marnus Labuschagne is almost straight into the game at Cardiff with Glamorgan losing Joe Cooke in the second over.

Driving hard and edging to first slip - has he only just seen Darren Stevens?

  6. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:37 British Summer Time 29 April 2021

    Miles c Borthwick b Carse 22 (Durham v Warwickshire 82-9)

Warwickshire's stubborn ninth-wicket stand finally ends.

Brydon Carse removes Craig Miles with Scott Borthwick taking a good high catch at second slip but only after he'd put on 52 with Liam Norwell.

82-9 looks somewhat better than 30-8.

  7. Postpublished at 15:37 British Summer Time 29 April 2021

    Lancs v Sussex 197-4

Once again, just when it looks like Sussex are in a really good position, a wicket just checks their progress.

Tom Clark has gone to whip Tom Bailey to leg, missed, and is lbw for 30.

    Play straight kids.

  8. How much further will tail wag?published at 15:29 British Summer Time 29 April 2021

    Durham v Warwickshire 80-8

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

Durham had two bowling points on the board after 16.5 overs as they reduced Warwickshire to 25-6.

They were then 30-8 after 18.3 overs as Ben Raine took the ninth 5-for of his career.

By that point he had 5-2 in 6.3 overs, of which five were maidens. And to think all eyes had been on England's Mark Wood at the start of the day! Wood has three wickets.

You can imagine we were thumbing through the record books for the lowest championship score against Durham. But all that has changed now. Liam Norwell and Craig Miles have added 50 runs and taken the Bears to 80-8.

The tail has wagged a lot in recent Durham games. How much further this one will remains to be seen.

  9. Kent all outpublished at 15:29 British Summer Time 29 April 2021

    Glam v Kent 138

The collapse is complete for Kent at Cardiff.

88-1 and going along swimmingly, they've been fired out for only 138 either side of lunch.

Timm van der Gugten and David Lloyd with four wickets apiece.

Full and straight good enough to remove last man Matt Milnes lbw for 1.

A shocker for Kent and if Marnus Labuschagne gets going on his return, Kent could be under the pump for the third game running.

  10. Notts stumblingpublished at 15:24 British Summer Time 29 April 2021

    Derbys v Notts 197-5

Notts have lost a couple more wickets after Joe Clarke went.

Lyndon James and captain Steven Mullaney have both been trapped lbw by Fynn Hudson-Prentice. The seamer has 3-29.

  11. Postpublished at 15:21 British Summer Time 29 April 2021

    Surrey 53-1 v Hants 92

Rory Burns flicks Brad Wheal off his hip for his sixth four and takes Surrey past 50.

England opener Burns is up to 36 in quick time.

  12. Postpublished at 15:17 British Summer Time 29 April 2021

    Yorkshire 80-5 v Northants; Glam v Kent 136-8; Glos v Leics 129-3

    Yorkshire in massive trouble now.

Tom Kohler-Cadmore has been bowled by one from Gareth Berg that held its line to take the top of off. Very nice delivery.

At Cardiff, Ollie Robinson has been squared up by Timm van der Gugten and edged to second slip.

    Kent being rolled over.

And it's two in two overs for Australian Dan Worrall at Bristol.

Rishi Patel has made a horrible error, shouldered arms, and lost his off stump.

    Worcs v Essex 125-1

    Alastair CookImage source, Rex Features

Alastair Cook is still accumulating runs for Essex at New Road.

The former England captain is up to 82.

    First-class century number 68 awaits the 36-year-old.

    Glos v Leics 129-2; Glam v Kent 131-7

    Marcus HarrisImage source, Rex Features

Breakthrough for Gloucestershire - and a long time coming too.

Dan Worrall struck with the second ball of the day and he returns here to have Marcus Harris driving an edge to James Bracey to fall for 62.

Meanwhile over the Severn Bridge David Lloyd has another for Glamorgan and Darren Stevens has been bowled by a beauty that's clipped the top of his off stump.

A few similarities between Lloyd's bowling and Stevens'. I'm sure the latter might enjoy a turn later on.

  15. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:09 British Summer Time 29 April 2021

    Gubbins c Overton b Gregory 75 (Somerset v Middlesex 170-4)

Somerset keep on chipping away at Middlesex.

Lewis Gregory gets one to nip away from Nick Gubbins, it takes the edge and Craig Overton gobbles up the chance at slip.

  16. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:09 British Summer Time 29 April 2021

    Clarke c Hosein b Aitchison 66 (Derbys v Notts 194-3)

Joe Clarke feathers one behind off Derbyshire seamer Ben Aitchison and is on his way for 66.

It ends a third-wicket stand of 163 with Ben Slater.

  17. Postpublished at 15:07 British Summer Time 29 April 2021

    Yorks 76-4 v Northants

Two in three balls for Wayne Parnell and Yorkshire are four down.

He swings a full delivery into the pads of Harry Brook who's driving all around it and palpably lbw for a second-ball duck.

Suddenly Northants on top at Headingley.

  18. Postpublished at 15:07 British Summer Time 29 April 2021

    Durham v Warwickshire 67-8

Liam Norwell and Craig Miles have put on Warwickshire's best partnership of the innings by some distance.

It's only 37, but from 30-8 it's spared the Bears blushes a little.

Can they help the visitors sneak past 100 at Chester-le-Street?

  19. Play at Cardiffpublished at 15:05 British Summer Time 29 April 2021

    Glam v Kent 127-6

Not too long the delay at Cardiff and Glamorgan will be itching to get back on.

They've run through the Kent middle order and are right on top.

What can the oldest swinger in town, Darren Stevens, do about it?

  20. Postpublished at 15:00 British Summer Time 29 April 2021

    Yorks 76-3 v Northants

Pretty soon after the resumption Yorkshire lose their third wicket.

Gary Ballance enjoyed a sold return to action at Hove last week but just 4 for him here, edging Wayne Parnell to the cordon.

It was about to be an awful dropped catch at second slip before Ben Curran at first plucked it with his left hand, casual as you like.
