    But the England paceman will have to wait for a bowl, his side are batting first.

    Haseeb Hameed and Ben Slater, who put on an unbroken 236, to save the game at Worcestershire on Sunday are in the middle.

    So where does the land lie heading into round four?

    Warwickshire top Group One after chasing down tricky fourth-innings totals against Notts and Essex to win their past two games.

    In Group Two, unbeaten Hampshire lead the way, but only just above Gloucestershire, after the two drew at The Ageas Bowl on Sunday.

    Lancashire lead Group Three, with Yorkshire second. Both have won two and drawn one of their opening three matches.
