That concludes our coverage of day two. Thanks again for joining us, we'll be back from 10:50 BST tomorrow.
Notts 173-3 v Warwickshire 341
Group One leaders Notts close on 177-3 at Edgbaston, 168 runs still in arrears of Warwickshire.
Openers Ben Slater (77) and Haseeb Hameed (39) both went after looking well set, victims for Liam Norwell, who also removed Ben Duckett for a duck. But Joe Clarke looks ominously poised on 48.
A slightly rain interrupted day - and it's still hard to say who holds sway.
Derbyshire 91-3 v Worcestershire 421
The Worcester Cathedral bell tolls seven o'clock at the start of the day's final over to mark the end of play at New Road.
After a rain-hit afternoon, Derbyshire have recovered from the loss of three quick wickets to reach 91-3.
They still trail the Pears by 330 runs but Wayne Madsen (31) and Ben McDermott (18) have shown plenty of fight to give the visitors hope going into day three.
Durham 99 v Essex 182 & 263-8
Another remarkable day at Chester-le-Street.
Having skittled Durham for 99 and then slipped to 53-5 themselves - a spell during which 20 wickets fell for only 155 runs scored - Essex have since taken complete control.
Their lead at the close is 346, with Simon Harmer (30 not out) and Sam Cook (11 not out) there at the end.
Sussex 175 & 142-4 v Northants 256
This has been a good comeback from Ben Brown (34 not out) and Tom Haines (64 not out), who have guided Sussex to 142-4 at the close - a lead of 61.
They are going to need to continue in a similar manner on day three if they're to set a challenging total for their visitors Northants.
Slater c Burgess b Norwell 77 (Notts 156-3 v Warwickshire 341)
Ben Slater becomes the third Notts batsman to go at Edgbaston as Liam Norwell strikes for a third time.
From 78-2, he and Joe Clarke doubled the score to 156, but Norwell now has him caught behind.
Lyndon James comes in to join Clarke, who is on 36.
Lancashire 350-6 v Yorkshire 159
Close of play at Old Trafford - and Lancashire end the second day perhaps even more on top than they looked on day one.
Fuelled by Keaton Jennings' first Lancashire century since 2018 and Luke Wells' best score for the Red Rose since his winter move after being released by Sussex, the hosts slowly eased past Yorkshire's first-innings 159.
From 246-1, a clatter of wickets after the new ball was taken in mid-afternoon briefly hinted at the Tykes forcing their way back into this game - but Josh Bohannon (47 not out) and Dane Vilas (35) have `now helped manoeuvre their side into a 191-run lead at the game's halfway point.
Even in a Roses Match, that will take a lot of getting back - especially for this weakened Tykes line-up.
Leicestershire 136 v Middlesex 295 & 57-1
With no further dramas for the Middlesex batsmen, they arrive at stumps just one wicket down.
Their lead is 216 over Leicestershire and Stevie Eskinazi (31 not out) and Nick Gubbins (20 not out) will hope to stretch that further on day three.
Durham 99 v Essex 182 & 245-8
Peter Siddle falls for five, bringing Sam Cook to the crease, but Essex's 328-run lead may already be too much for Durham?
Six overs left in the day.
Notts 128-2 v Warwickshire 341
Ben Slater (58) and Joe Clarke have compiled the second half-century partnership of the Notts innings.
Slater earlier put on 72 with Haseeb Hameed (39) as Notts reply to Warwickshire's 342 all out.
Du Plooy lbw Barnard 7 (Derbyshire 58-3 v Worcestershire 421)
A third wicket has gone down at New Road as Ed Barnard gets in on the act by removing Leus du Plooy.
In stark contrast to trigger-happy Chester-le-Street, it's only the second LBW decision of the match.
Ben McDermott comes in to join Wayne Madsen, who is on 18.
Durham 99 v Essex 182 & 232-7
Adam Wheater falls for 81. He's run out by Matthew Potts 19 runs short of a century.
Peter Siddle joins Simon Harmer (19 not out) in the middle. Essex's lead is 315.
Surrey 473 v Gloucestershire 45-1
And that is indeed us done for the day at The Oval.
It's been Surrey's day - and Hashim Amla's day. His brilliant 173 has batted his team into a position of complete control.
Notts 120-2 v Warwickshire 341
Ben Slater goes past 50 for the fourth time in seven matches this season.
He is on 56. Joe Clarke has already hit four boundaries to move rapidly on to 22.
Surrey 473 v Gloucestershire 45-1
Rain's stopped play at The Oval, by the way.
Could that be it for the day?
Wood c Duke b Thompson 7 (Lancashire 340-6 v Yorkshire 159)
Yorkshire take their sixth wicket - and it's a third for Jordan Thompson - as Luke Wood is caught behind.
The Lancashire lead is 181 as Danny Lamb comes in at number eight.
Durham 99 v Essex 182 & 217-6
This has been a funny old match.
After such a clatter of wickets, Essex continue to make really healthy progress with the bat and now lead by 300.
Simon Harmer (15 not out) is supporting Adam Wheater (71 not out).
Derbyshire 32-2 v Worcestershire 421
Worcestershire claim a second wicket at New Road as skipper Joe Leach gets rid of Brooke Guest for 20 - caught by Derbyshire old boy Ross Whiteley.
Two new men in, as Wayne Madsen joins Leus De Plooy.
Leicestershire 136 v Middlesex 295 & 15-1
Middlesex have lost an early wicket, Sam Robson trapped in front by Chris Wright.
The visitors lead is 174 at Leicester.
Yorkshire 159 v Lancashire 324-5
The 110-over cut-off mark is reached at Old Trafford - and only five Lancashire wickets are down.
That means just one bowling point from this match for Yorkshire, who also missed out on any batting points.
But, when Lancashire were at 246-1 well into the afternoon session, the Tykes would then have been grateful even for one bowling point, so everything is relative.
More crucially, in the context of this Group Three 'first v second' Roses Match, Lancashire lead by 165 - still with five wickets in hand.
