Oliver Hannon-Dalby is last man out for 26 in the 120th over to end a 52-run stand with Liam Norwell (30 not out).

A second wicket for Liam Patterson-White.

Ten minutes now for Notts to face this side of lunch. Awkward?

  2. 50 runs

50 partnership at Edgbastonpublished at 12:39 British Summer Time 28 May 2021

    Warwickshire 341-9 v Notts

Warwickshire's last pair Oliver Hannon-Dalby and Liam Norwell are rather enjoying themselves at Edgbaston.

Five fours for OHD in his 26.

Three sixes for Norwell in his more agricultural 30.

Notts being held up badly here.

If it goes on much longer, it could mean a delayed lunch, BBC Radio Nottingham's Dave Bracegirdle has ruefully just informed us.

  3. 400 up for the Pearspublished at 12:35 British Summer Time 28 May 2021

    Worcestershire 400-9 v Derbyshire

Worcestershire go past 400 at New Road as Ed Barnard moves on to 83.

Too late for a bonus point but fun runs for the hosts - to amuse their select following.

650 of the strictly enforced crowd limit of 870 turned up yesterday. It seems like a similar number there today.

  4. 50 runs

50 for Saif Zaibpublished at 12:30 British Summer Time 28 May 2021

    Sussex 175 v Northants 175-7

The scores are level at Hove, where Saif Zaib has also just brought up his half-century from 92 deliveries, including four boundaries.

But Northants are also now seven wickets down having recently lost Tom Taylor for three, run out by Travis Head.

  5. 50 runs

50 partnership at Old Traffordpublished at 12:20 British Summer Time 28 May 2021

    Yorkshire 159 v Lancashire 128-1

The second-wicket partnership between Keaton Jennings (42) and Luke Wells (25) goes past 50 - and Lancashire are starting to look set for a decent first-innings lead.

No real alarms this morning, other than a needless run-out scare, which Wells just survived.

  6. Amla & Abbott share 50 partnershippublished at 12:20 British Summer Time 28 May 2021

    Surrey 336-6 v Gloucestershire

Hashim Amla (120 not out) and Sean Abbott (32 not out) continue to plug away at The Oval, moving the score onto 336-6 now.

But, going at less than three an over, Gloucestershire's bowlers have kept things pretty tight, to their credit.

  7. 'Durham's lowest score against Essex'published at 12:16 British Summer Time 28 May 2021

    Durham 99 v Essex 182 & 0-0

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

Essex finished off Durham in fine style this morning as they took the last four wickets for 41 runs to dismiss them for just 99.

It's Durham's lowest score against Essex, beating their 123 all out at Chelmsford last month, and it means the visitors have a healthy lead of 83 runs.

Sam Cook finished with 4-38, while Peter Siddle and Jamie Porter took three wickets each. Porter will also be on a hat-trick in the Durham second innings after removing Matty Potts and Chris Rushworth in consecutive balls at the end of the first.

This has been poor from Durham. Their first five dismissals were all lbws, something they haven't done before. Too many batsmen were rooted to the crease and failed to get forward to the ball on a pitch which is staying low.

They have now been out for less than 100 on 25 occasions. Of the previous 24... they have won one!

  8. Melton strikes again at Worcesterpublished at 12:11 British Summer Time 28 May 2021

    Leach b Melton 5 (Worcestershire 376-9 v Derbyshire)

No word of a lie, A third wicket for Melton.

Joe Leach is gone this time as the Worcestershire innings draws closer to a conclusion.

Ed Barnard has moved on to 70. Dillon Pennington is last man in.

  9. Bears bag third batting pointpublished at 12:08 British Summer Time 28 May 2021

    Warwickshire 303-9 v Notts

Classic bonus-point chasing from Oliver Hannon-Dalby as the tall Bear strikes fours off successive deliveries - the final two balls of the 110th over.

A wonderful burst of applause to greet it too as the rare sound of a crowd rings around Edgbaston.

So three points each for Warwickshire AND Nottinghamshire, whose three quick wickets this morning had secured theirs earlier.

Both the last two Bears batsmen Hannon-Dalby and Liam Norwell now into double figures. Annoying runs for Notts.

  10. Middlesex all out for 295published at 12:07 British Summer Time 28 May 2021

    Middlesex 295 v Leicestershire

There'll be no century for John Simpson!

He's left stranded on 95 not out as Thilan Walallawita is bowled by Chris Wright for six to leave Middlesex 295 all out.

  11. Durham all out for 99published at 12:06 British Summer Time 28 May 2021

    Durham 99 v Essex 182

    That escalated quickly!

Two wickets in two balls for Jamie Porter - Matty Potts and Chris Rushworth his victims - see Durham bowled out for 99, some 83 runs short of Essex's first-innings total.

It's a superb comeback from the Essex bowlers after losing their last five wickets for only three runs yesterday.

  12. wicket

Derbyshire remove Josephpublished at 11:59 British Summer Time 28 May 2021

    Joseph c Godleman b Melton 12 (Worcestershire 364-8 v Derbyshire)

  13. wicket

'Five-fer' for Patersonpublished at 11:57 British Summer Time 28 May 2021

    Lamb c sub b Paterson 67 (Warwickshire 289-9 v Notts)

Five wickets for South African Dane Paterson as Matt Lamb goes for 67.

Maximum bowling points for Notts again.

Two overs left for the last pair to get a third batting point.

  14. Simpson running out of partnerspublished at 11:56 British Summer Time 28 May 2021

    Middlesex 288-9 v Leicestershire

Ethan Bamber has now been dismissed by Ben Mike for four, meaning John Simpson - still six shy of a ton - has just Thilan Walallawita left for company to help him reach three figures.

  15. Three batting points for Surreypublished at 11:50 British Summer Time 28 May 2021

    Surrey 309-6 v Gloucestershire

Gloucestershire have spread the field somewhat at The Oval as Surrey continue to chip away slowly but surely.

They've recently brought up their third batting point but, with the 110-over mark nearly upon us, there won't be any additional bonus points on the way.

Sean Abbott has moved to 16, while Hashim Amla is on 110.

  16. wicket

Fletcher strikes at Edgbastonpublished at 11:42 British Summer Time 28 May 2021

    Warwickshire 277-8 v Notts

Craig Miles is next to go at Edgbaston, caught by Ben Slater at point.

A first deserved wicket for Luke Fletcher in 27 very tidy overs.

New man in is Liam Norwell.

    Matt Lamb remains on 64.

  17. Fourth batting point for Pearspublished at 11:41 British Summer Time 28 May 2021

    Worcestershire 355-7 v Derbyshire

Ed Barnard and Alzarri Joseph see Worcestershire past 350 and to a fourth batting bonus point.

Five overs left to get another one. But 41 still needed. That may be beyond them.

  18. Wickets continue to tumblepublished at 11:35 British Summer Time 28 May 2021

    Durham 84-8 v Essex 182

Make that 17 of 18 wickets to fall either bowled or lbw.

Peter Siddle sends Brydon Carse's off stump tumbling to leave Durham eight down.

They have, at least, now dragged the deficit to below 100.

On a side note, 13 wickets have fallen for 87 runs since Essex reached 179-5 yesterday afternoon!

  19. No breakthrough yet for Tykespublished at 11:32 British Summer Time 28 May 2021

    Yorkshire 159 v Lancashire 110-1

Lancashire's overnight pair Keaton Jennings and Luke Wells have seen off the first half hour at Old Trafford safely.

    The Red Rose now within 60 of Yorkshire's below-par first-innings 159.

  20. Northants now five downpublished at 11:32 British Summer Time 28 May 2021

    Sussex 175 v Northants 120-5

It looks like we could be in for a close, low-scoring affair at Hove.

Northants have lost their fifth wicket this morning, Simon Kerrigan bowled by George Garton, and they're still trailing by 55.

Skipper Adam Rossington is the new man in.
