  1. Another two gone in Cardiffpublished at 13:56 British Summer Time 4 June 2021

    Glamorgan 150 v Lancashire 173 & 113-5

Michael Neser has his second wicket of the day at Sophia Gardens.

Josh Bohannon, bowled by a Neser yorker.

New man in is skipper Dane Vilas, who made a career-best 266, the last time he faced Glamorgan in the County Championship - at Rhos-on-Sea, Colwyn Bay in August 2019.

But his arrival is then followed by the departure of Liam Livingstone, to a huge leading edge to Neser at third man, off the grateful Dan Douthwaite.

Livingstone had already hit three fours in his typically quickfire 13 - and wasn't ever looking likely to hang around this afternoon.

The Red Rose only lead by 136.

    Yorkshire 26-0 v Sussex 313

    Adrian Harms
    BBC Radio Sussex

A good morning for Yorkshire, who took the last five Sussex wickets for 46.

Yesterday’s centurion Ben Brown was out in the second over of the morning caught behind, although the Sussex skipper looked very disappointed at the decision.

Daniel Ibrahim, 16, went on to complete his maiden first-class half-century, before he became Ben Coad's second victim of the innings.

Jordan Thompson was the pick of the Yorkshire bowling with figures of 3-53.

    Somerset 360 v Hampshire 67-3

    Anthony Gibson
    BBC Radio Somerset

Somerset's 'Marchant of Menace' lived up to his billing, in a fast and furious spell in the Taunton sunshine, which brought him the wickets of Tom Alsop and Cameron Steel, both undone by the big South African's extra pace.

Josh Davey claimed the other wicket to fall, Ian Holland edging to Roelof van der Merwe at third slip.

But, after some early uncertainty, Sam Northeast and James Vince have been moving ominously into their stride on a pitch which is offering rather less help to the seamers than yesterday.

  5. Postpublished at 13:21 British Summer Time 4 June 2021

    Glamorgan 150 v Lancashire 173 & 88-3

    Ffion Wynne
    BBC Radio Wales

Not quite the dramatics of Thursday, when 19 wickets fell, but Lancashire are building a healthy lead against Glamorgan in their second innings.

Alex Davies played some expansive shots in his 47 before being dismissed on the stroke of lunch – and it seems much easier for batting with the sun shining. But it’s unlikely that this game will make it to the fourth day.

Yesterday’s verdict from Michael Hogan and Tom Bailey was that it was certainly not a 19-wickets-in-a-day pitch – and that poor shot selection and good bowling was the reason for the low scores.

Either way, Glamorgan won’t want to be chasing too much more than 180-200 here, so their bowlers have plenty of work to do.

  6. Lunch at New Roadpublished at 13:17 British Summer Time 4 June 2021

    Worcestershire 131 v Durham 252-4

112 runs for no loss in the morning session for Durham at New Road.

This game is rapidly heading out of the Pears' reach.

The country's leading run scorer David Bedingham has gone past 700 runs for the season to lunch on 65, with Michael Jones on 51.

Their stand is 118 - the eighth partnership of more than 50 that Bedingham has been involved with this season.

  7. Lunch at Derbypublished at 13:13 British Summer Time 4 June 2021

    Derbyshire 61-2 v Warwickshire 274

No further loss of any wickets at Derby.

Derbyshire wicketkeeper Brooke Guest has so far taken an hour and 17 minutes over a painstaking 18 off 59 balls.

Wayne Madsen has faced nine balls and is yet to get off the mark.

The Bears' bowling attack are proving particularly parsimonious.

  8. Lunch at Chelmsfordpublished at 13:08 British Summer Time 4 June 2021

    Essex v Notts 248-6

No play this morning at Chelmsford.

No news yet on what the prospects are this afternoon - but the BBC Weather App forecasts more rain. Ouch!!!

  9. Lunch at Leicesterpublished at 13:06 British Summer Time 4 June 2021

    Leicestershire 436-7 v Gloucestershire

The Leicestershire batsmen just go on and on and on.

Just two wickets lost this morning and they reach the interval on 436-7. The intention for the hosts is to only bat once.

  10. Lunch at Sophia Gardenspublished at 13:05 British Summer Time 4 June 2021

    Glamorgan 150 v Lancashire 173 & 88-3

Glamorgan claim their third Lancashire wicket of the morning on the stroke of lunch as Alex Davies falls for 47, leg before wicket to Michael Neser.

Umpire Paul Baldwin's verdict is the 10th LBW decision of the game so far, to largely account for how 23 wickets have so far fallen in this game in just four sessions.

Lunch is taken, with four more balls of this over to complete after the resumption.

    Lancashire now lead by 111.

  11. Lunch at Headingleypublished at 13:05 British Summer Time 4 June 2021

    Yorkshire 26-0 v Sussex

A strong start to the Yorkshire innings from Adam Lyth and Tom Kohler-Cadmore, who reach lunch on 26-0.

Lyth is unbeaten on 17 - including one six!

  12. Lunch at Tauntonpublished at 13:04 British Summer Time 4 June 2021

    Somerset 360 v Hampshire 67-3

It's been a good morning for Somerset, but Sam Northeast and James Vince have steadied things well for Hampshire since they slipped to 31-3.

    Big afternoon session ahead.

  13. 50 runs

50 for Michael Jonespublished at 12:59 British Summer Time 4 June 2021

    Worcestershire 131 v Durham 251-4

Michael Jones follows David Bedingham to his half century at New Road.

Durham have found runs easy to come by this morning. Their lead is now up to 120.

  14. Wickets still falling in Cardiffpublished at 12:54 British Summer Time 4 June 2021

    Glamorgan 150 v Lancashire 173 & 80-2

Lancashire now lead Glamorgan by over 100 at Sophia Gardens but wickets are still falling.

This game is only just coming to the end of its fourth session - but the loss of Luke Wells for 26 was the 22nd wicket to go down.

Wells was unlucky, dragging one onto his stumps from Dan Douthwaite who, shortly after, almost removed new batsman Josh Bohannon the same way.

  15. 50 runs

50 up for Derbyshire - but two downpublished at 12:48 British Summer Time 4 June 2021

    Derbyshire 54-2 v Warwickshire 274

No sooner than Derbyshire go past 50 in their reply against Warwickshire than they lose a second wicket.

Skipper Billy Godleman is caught behind off Craig Miles for 32, after putting on 46 with Brooke Guest, who remains on 15, joined by Wayne Madsen.

  16. 50 runs

50 for David Bedinghampublished at 12:34 British Summer Time 4 June 2021

    Worcestershire 131 v Durham 222-4

South African David Bedingham goes to his 50 for Durham for the fifth time this season.

He got there with his second six off spinner Brett D'Oliveira.

On two of the previous four occasions he has gone on to reach three figures - and big ones too, 257 (this season's highest Championship score) against Derbyshire and 180 not out against Nottinghamshire.

Might be there a few more to come today too?

  17. wicket

Sussex all out for 313published at 12:34 British Summer Time 4 June 2021

    Yorkshire v Sussex 313

That was a rather abrupt conclusion for Sussex in the end, losing their last three wickets in successive overs for just three runs.

First David Willey pinned Henry Crocombe in front, before running out number 11 Jamie Atkins.

It's a decent total for Sussex and gives them something to bowl at, although from 269-5 they would surely have been looking for a few more.

  18. Jennings out at Cardiffpublished at 12:24 British Summer Time 4 June 2021

    Glamorgan 150 v Lancashire 173 & 46-1

Keaton Jennings has gone cheaply for the second time in the match, for 12, following his 3 in the first innings.

He was leg before wicket to James Weighell - the ninth LBW decision for umpires Paul Baldwin and Alex Wharf between them.

But Al Davies is going well - five fours in his 31 so far.

The first wicket went down at 38 - and that matches the 38 made by Glamorgan openers David Lloyd and Joe Cooke on Thursday as the highest stand so far in this game.

  19. 200 runs

200 up for Durhampublished at 12:17 British Summer Time 4 June 2021

    Worcestershire 131 v Durham 210-4

Durham collect the first batting bonus point of the game at New Road.

Michael Jones has moved on to 35, in-form South African Daniel Bedingham is already on to 45 - seven fours and a six off Brett D'Oliveira.

The lead is growing. The home hopes of a breakthrough are fading.

  20. Postpublished at 12:17 British Summer Time 4 June 2021

    Yorkshire v Sussex 310-8

Make that eight down for Sussex, who've now lost Stuart Meaker for nine, bowled by Steven Patterson.
