Can't really call this a drop - would've been a total worldie.
But Dan Lawrence did get a small tickle on that and the ball bounces in and out of Tom Blundell's gloves.
You'd have to have insane reflexes to snaffle that.
New Zealand turn to spin.
Ajaz Patel is back on.

Struggling finalist at 16:58 needs to get their priorities straight, I get it was probably a joke but come on it's obvious. England can't replay the series if they lose, same with the Euros. Exams can be retaken. Easy choice.
Matt, Bristol
Olly Stone gets another four through the same area with another thick outside edge.
Neil Wagner is delighted...ahem.
West Indies are 48-4 at lunch against South Africa so things could be worse.

The ball has carried to the slip cordon, but if anything I think the pitch is a little slow. I think if we get good weather though it will quicken up.
Lawrence 36, Stone 13
Olly Stone brings up England's 200 with a thick slice between the slips and gully for four.
Streaky but vital runs.

Sorry Colin (16:48), but long live the Barmy Army. Their support is invaluable to the England team, something that's been missing over the last 15 months.
Paul
Colin from previous message, you could not be more wrong - what's wrong with people enjoying the fun and atmosphere, especially after the last year?
Tom
Olly Stone can hold a bat, to be fair. A pushed drive through the covers for three.
Well the cricket isn't going to take very long at this rate.

Any advice on trying to juggle the cricket, the Euros and my university finals over the next two weeks?
A very much struggling finalist
Neil Wagner hoops it back in to Dan Lawrence's pads and he gets his bat down in time to clip it away for a couple. Plumb if he'd missed but fine timing in the end.
It seems to be moving both quickly and slowly at the moment.
Craig Overton and Haseeb Hameed run out again with more drinks and changes of gloves.
A word of advice too? Or just consolation?

The game is moving at quite a pace, ain't it?
Another maiden.

This pitch may start to misbehave at some stage. I get the feeling it might play a few tricks, particularly with the sun coming out the next few days.
Olly Stone sees off another maiden from Neil Wagner.

Such a shame to hear the moronic Barmy Army chanting again. Cricket doesn't need it - or them.

I felt so sorry for James Bracey.
