Is that going to be enough? It probably depends what sort of mood Luke Wright and Phil Salt are in.

Wright hit the highest individual score made on Finals Day when he smashed 92 here at Edgbaston three years ago in Sussex's semi-final win over Somerset.

Daniel Bell-Drummond came close to surpassing that with his superb innings of 82, well supplemented by that splendid 47-run cameo from the ageless Darren Stevens.

    But is it enough?

A brief minute to reflect on the opening semi-final then - in which Somerset produced a sensational late flurry to beat Hampshire.

Here's Ged Scott's report from that one.

Could well be a crazy, crazy, crazy night ahead of us here at Edgbaston.

Hope I haven't put the Kiss of death on it.

Daniel Bell-Drummond set the innings up very well with a fine 82.

And then Darren Stevens finished things off with 47 from just 28 balls - his highest T20 score since 2015 according to ESPNcricinfo.

That'll take some chasing I reckon but Sussex have as many as eight very capable T20 batsmen.

I think it's competitive after we've seen what happened this morning - it is 15 or so more than what the teams did in the first semi-final.

The wicket did seem like it played a little bit better but Kent will be going in thinking they've got a decent total and if they can bowl well early on and win that powerplay, they will have a great chance of defending that total.

Daniel Bell-Drummond speaking to Sky Sports:

"It's been a long wait for us at Kent to be back here and I enjoyed batting out there.

"The new ball slid on and then it got a bit sticky in the middle.

"Darren keeps learning regardless of his age and hopefully he can bowl well too.

"We would have taken that at the start."

Full and wide and Darren Stevens carves it wide of point and gets four!

Then a quick bumper hits Stevens final ball and they run a leg bye.

A great slower ball from Tymal Mills really deceived Darren Stevens.

He was through the shot before the ball arrived.

It's another dot ball which is the important thing - the wicket is irrelevant really.

    Well this is silly.

Tymal Mills gets through Darren Stevens with a lovely slower ball.

Qais Ahmad is trying to run a bye when he knows Stevens wants the strike.

Stevens stays put and Qais is ran out by the length of the pitch.

  12. Kent 163-7 v Sussexpublished at 19.3 overs

Slower ball is swung away by Qais Ahmad and they get back for two wide of long leg.

Then a full ball outside off is missed but they run the bye.

    Three balls for Darren Stevens.

Tymal Mills with the final over and 170 is now on again.

Full and straight across the right-hander and Grant Stewart swings and nicks it behind.

Poor cricket, should just have been looking to dab a single for Darren Stevens.

Russ: Kent obviously have the better kit here, as Sussex look like they've found a batch of Coventry City's kit from 93.

I wondered why I kept thinking of Micky Quinn...

    45-years-old?

Nothing wrong with these eyes of Darren Stevens.

He shimmies across his stumps and paddle sweeps a boundary to the vacant fine-leg fence.

An off-side swing isn't timed but gets two wide of deep cover.

Chris Jordan goes shorter and goes past the outside edge.

But then he's full again and Stevens whacks him wide of long-off. Superb timing.

  17. Kent 148-6 v Sussexpublished at 18 overs

Tymal Mills has two to bowl and the first of them is nice and tight with plenty of variations and getting his yorker in well.

170 would be an achievement now from Kent.

    Andy Zaltzman
    BBC Test Match Special statistician

In the death overs, in the major leagues, since 2016, of the 154 bowlers who have bowled at least 25 overs, Tymal Mills has the second best economy rate.

Only Adam Milne has a better economy rate in the death overs than Mills.

A great knock from Bell-Drummond. To get 82 off 51 balls - on what has been a low-scoring Finals Day so far - is a great performance, to get his team up to what could be a big score.

He could have taken Kent through to a match-winning score so that's a big wicket for Sussex Sharks.

  20. Kent 143-6 v Sussexpublished at 17 overs

Wicket no bother for Darren Stevens who opens the blade on a drive to take a boundary past deep cover.

And then flicks two more wide of deep midwicket.
